It’s not unlikely that Nnpc might have paid unsuccessful candidates transportation allowance as some sort of consolation. Any industry that wants to maximize profit can employ that strategy. I mean why pay your soon employees an itsy bitsy stipend when you are about to absorb them.
Then comes the thought of payment by batch. It doesn’t add up. I mean! It’s Nnpc. They are not lacking funds. So why send in batches.
From my Analysis, it seems quite a majority on Nairaland have not received payment yet. You should not be surprised. The interview tips shared here was a great enlightenment and i promise you, quite a majority of Nairalanders would get this job as we all braved for the impact hence we were not taken by surprise despite the dynamics of the questions.
You would be shook by how many non Nairalanders have received the transport fare. Actually, everyone that did the interview I know of have been paid. So?
But again, these are just logical deductions.
Do not be afraid if you have been paid and Do not rejoice if you have not been paid.

That was how some people believed there would be more batches for the cbt and interview. Some even told us here that they got the news from their reliable sources that there would be more batches for the interview which didn't occur. So is someone still saying there will be more batches for the alert too make I knack am apako? Issokay

NNPC as an organization has an organized salary/remuneration structure. And if they, by any stretch deprive anyone of the reimbursement because he/she would be given an appointment, then it mirrors them as a highly irresponsible coy.

Everyone who participated in that interview is deserving of that reimbursement whether or not, the applicant is successful. I don't think there was anyone who took a public transport and his/her driver agreed to collect the fare when successful or anyone who drove to the venue and the Filling station attendant accepted to receive the cash for fuel only when that applicant succeed.

So, we should all calm down!

I expect my account to be credited soonest, as I hopefully expect my Medicals notification & Offer Letter.

Well I don't know who is smarter but I have first Class in Physics with Electronics and he has Second Class upper in Mech Eng with a Masters in Chem Eng.

There's a big difference between 'you are our leading candidate' and ' we are interviewing 5 people, and you are all evenly qualified'. Is your candidacy strong enough to warrant t/fare. Where is the incentive to pay to bring candidates out of town, when there are good local candidates. So if you want to be in the running, paying to get yourself there might be worth it. Just like you did.

Exactly. Everything is happening so fast in this year's recruitment.

To think the advert was published in March, just less than 4 months ago, and everything - shortlisting, test, interview - has happened in less than 4 months. This is the fastest government mass recruitment I have ever seen. Even the alert that is coming less than 2 weeks after interview (compared to more than 6 months in 2012). NNPC has really improved in efficiency.
