If he s talking about street beggars then he s wrong.. Go to Onitsha Main Market, Ogbete Main Market, Ariaria.. You will see them beggars singing and begging.. Most of them are blind though.

Reno actually knows how to talk trash and exaggerate unnecessarily. I used to say that before but I was wrong, there are Igbo beggars.

You people are so devoid of comprehension. Reno never said that there are no igbo beggers, he said he has never seen one, which means to him there are rear, what right do you have to argue about what he has seen or has not.

Sentiment outside, if igbos had access to state resource at the top level as this abokis or yolobas..they will be miles ahead in every sense.

Every tribe has beggars, it not just as rampant as northerners who take it as occupation and even come through lorries that offload at tomatoes market at night.Northerners export their begging to every state across the country. I sometimes think some northern states earn a large percentage of their gdp through begging occupation.

They have constituted nuisance in my state and harass people by holding on to their clothes as if they gave them money to keep for them,if you are not careful one will pick your pocket while the other distract you.

That means you've never travelled.

9th mile, Onitsha, even Abakaliki - Ogoja park, them plenty for there.

Funny enough, even in Ojuelegba, under the bridge, you'll see well known beggars from the east.
I know about that ogoja park em plenty there but all in all, all tribes have beggars.....

Anambra also take pride in being a Beggars colony cheesy grin

You don't sound intelligent. Staying in Anambra doesn't make them Anambrarians.
They are obviously your SW brothers struggling to survive in Anambra state

There's this Igbo woman at Ojuelegba who always begs for "transport to Festac".

I later saw her at CMS Bus stop, doing same.

There are Igbo beggars. I will be honest. Dino would have been absolutely right if he had said "I have never seen an able bodied Igbo beggar". What I am saying is that Igbo's only have people who resort to begging because they can't, reasonably, fend for themselves. E.g the blind or those suffering from illnesses that they can't handle financially.

This is unlike some tribes with healthy able bodied men begging for alms with bowl. E.g...lol
DINO OR RENO?

I have given money to an Igbo begger before in a motor park in Aba while I was serving there.

Nigeria economy grew as a result of higher oil prices not as a result of any unique innovation by Ngozi, although I really respect the woman a lot.

The largest economy in Africa thing only came as a result of rebasing our economy not Madam Ngozi exploits.

Reno should stop playing to the gallery, I know he is far more intelligent than this.

Reno said what he said because he is not a true Nigerian.

I am Igbo. You will find Igbo beggars all over Igboland. At motorparks in Aba, Onitsha, Umuahia, Enugu, Ekwuluobia, even in Lagos etc.

Reno is just an adult kid....

There are many able bodied Ibo beggars littered all over the country. There's nothing special or different about the ibo man, except of course his insatiable greed

The fear of poverty is what drives the Igbos to do what they do. When an average man sees a nylon, an Igbo sees an opportunity to make money out of ordinary nylon plastic.

That's why most of them engage in criminal activities here and outside. I respect them for their hustling spirit but they tend to take it too far. An Igbo man is ready to sell his brother for money, they pledge their allegiance to who brings the most cash to the table

Reno is wrong though, but he said "HE HAS NEVER SEEN", not that there are no Igbo beggars
Re: Reno Omokri: I Have Never Seen An Igbo Beggar Since I Was Born Till Today by Whobedatte(m): 10:03am On Jul 20, 2019
Truth be told, I have also not seen an igbo beggar in LAGOS, they might a preponderance in the east though.
Been to Amafor-imsigwa in umuahia, Owerri, Enugu, and haven't seen any.
In remote village in Amafor-imsigwa, I saw duplex, mansions, built by young igbo men.
Apart from Bende and isi-alangwa , you can hardly find old, dilapidated houses in umuahia.
Those guys can survive under the most stringent conditions.
When Paul, whom I buy foodstuffs from opposite my house told me he lost over 800k from his acct due to scammers, I was dumbfounded!!
If they tell you this guy is worth 100k, you would argue it. He's still an apprentice under his Oga, wears only one clothe, intact his second clothe, I dashed him, sleeps in his shop.
igbos are very enterprising and resilient, and if the could all channel their energy towards building their region, they would be great.
Although I don't like their other side of always complaining of what they are guilty of.
Worked at ochanja market and relief market in onitsha, last year, their Agberos are mean and more wicked than those we have here sef.
That place is the only place I know on Nigeria where you have to pay if you want to exit with goods in the market and pay again if you want to cross the expressway with your goods.
You pay virtually everywhere around the market.
Damn
