Arbitrary- maybe not. Insensitive- yes! With due respect to the former HAG the issue is not about whether Gov. Ajimobi had the Constitutional right to grant clemency. It is about the insensitivity of the decision. Anyone who can read and is not dumb knows it was all about giving her the softest landing possible in all the circumstances given her family influence set against the background of the public outcry concerning her criminal conduct. What more? The HAG was her lawyer before he became HAG! The deceased husband was deceitful in love but that won’t justify his slaying.
