Apparently you have shared some information before this one which I didn't get to read. So my answer is based on your last post. Note that this is an open program you are admitted for (Kindly correct me if im wrong) ECO do not take such program as priority so your application will be treated like a regular tourist application where you are not expected to spend more than 2.5× of your monthly disposable income. I have been refused before when I applied for visa on the back of an admission I secured for a short code at Cass Business School, University of London. I was refused because the total budget was 7.5x of my monthly disposable income. Saying someone want to contribute towards a non certificate course will also raise a red flag

Hello guys,

I currently got my visa for a visit on the 17th of August to 27th August. Would there be a problem during renewal if I decided to do the visit later in the year?

Thanks for the reply.
The answer is no. But don't overstayed your Visa.

Somebody help please

Youngee34:
Hello everyone,

My uncle and I applied together(joint application) for a visiting visa on July 10th using my brother's convocation invitation letter.

We used fast track and we were told it would be ready in 5 to 7 days.

My uncle got an email for pickup last week Friday(July 19th) and he got his visa.

However, my case is different, as I'm still yet to receive any email from them, it's at "Application received by DMC" stage.
It's 9 working days and I'm still yet to hear from them... Please hope it doesn't indicate there might be a problem or sort, considering I applied with my uncle, we even did biometrics same time, and he has gotten his own visa by now.

what type of service did you pay for.

I booked for premium lounge and did walk-in, so I paid for both.

Thank you bro.

But it is a masters degree program but would be doing 3weeks of the program in U.K. then I would travel back to Nigeria. I would gain a master's degree at the end of the whole program.

What do you think sir?

This was the previous message posted below

Hello.
Being reading alot here and I am glad I am learning.
Please I would love to ask.

I intend to do a module of my masters program in UK which I would be spending just 3weeks. I have admission letter and letter from the school addressing the embassy. I have a letter of Introduction from my place of work, my payslip, and employment letter set.

I have an uncle I intend to stay with during my period of stay, he is a citizen and has sent me his statement of account, letter of sponsor and international passport data page.

My question now is; I have just 1million in my personal account, would that be ok for me? As accommodation is already taking care off by my uncle who I would be staying with. This amount was from my savings and mothers contribution.

I have someone who wants to send me 1.5m but I am sceptic as to what explanation I would have to backup such funds in my account.

Please I need a guide on how best to explain or indicate on a narration for such funds or should I let it go?

I also have an aunty in the U.S who wants to send her documents too as a second sponsor. Would that be an added advantage ?

Thanks.
I look forward to reading your feedback.

Hello Guys,

My appointment is today by 10am.

should i include my proposed budget plan in the cover letter? or that just my personal stuff.

Also i reserved a flight on emirates airline which i haven't paid for and printed it. should i include that too or leave it out.

Thanks and Regards.
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by bigtt76(f): 7:20am On Jul 24, 2019
You might need to share details of the school to enable gurus here give a more specific advice. ECOs are weary of bogus admissions used for visa applications.

As the guy mentioned, s/he was denied visa for a short course at University of London and also, the cost of the course shouldn't be more than 2.5x your monthly salary. Sponsorship by your uncle may not count unless he clearly states in a separate letter awarding you a scholarship and why he's doing that, how's he's going to fund it (preferably have the funds in an unencumbered state).

Which university in the UK is running the course?

University of Brighton, Eastbourne, UK

Spending 2weeks in class but would arrive a week to, making it 3weeks in total of stay in UK
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by bigtt76(f): 11:28am On Jul 24, 2019
Great. So you might need to get letter of confirmation from the University of Brighton confirming that they are part of the European Masters program and that they have you've been confirmed to attend the program.

Yes they sent me that already bro.

So what do you think from what I have said so far?

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by bigtt76(f): 11:55am On Jul 24, 2019
Excellent. So you need to tidy up the finance part ....that area is where I think is currently lacking. If your uncle is sponsoring, then he needs to confirm that the cost of the tuition + your accommodation and up keep are going to be funded from an unencumbered account balance.

Ok..
Like the account should be sent free and able to sort it right?

I am considering using my mum who is a federal worker and my uncle as my both sponsors while me I do have 1m in my account currently.

Is this a good go bro?

Hello Gurus in the house. Please does anyone have a rough time frame to hear from the VAC? I got a "UK Visa Application - Application Concluded" last friday the 19th of July. I assumed the passport will be ready for pick up today considering posting might have been done over the weekend. Please can anyone share thier experience about the time lines.

Any update?

Forgot to mention my first UK application in May 2019 also came back with a refusal on the grounds ECO was not comfortable other lodgements apart from my salary were genuine earnings for me.

I reapplied immediately with a separate confirmation letter from my employers that those monies were commissions paid to me by the company with company invoices attached to the letter.

DOCS Submitted

Application/Cover letter detailing all lodgements one by one like I'm communicating with a 5 yr old.
Employment letter
6 months pays lips
Pension account statement
Property deeds
Request letter to my employers to confirm commission payments to the embassy
Invitation letter, utility bill and passport page of my cousin in UK

share document uploaded pls
