About 3 years ago, I flew from Stockholm, Sweden, to Tenerife, Spain, a 6 hours long flight for 9euros. That's longer than flying from Madrid to Lagos, while the latter cost nothing less than 500 euros.

So yes, if traveling is your calling, the EU is for you.

Go check out ryanair.com, flight below 10euros is the norm, you really have no reason not to travel and enjoy your life

That's pathetic, when compared to other western countries...
