Any Recovery that allows incremental OTA update like stock recovery?
I don't have money to be downloading full Rom package every time there's an OTA

Redwolf recovery does that on my Note 4 when I was still om stock rom, I can't say for other models.

Switch off immediately and Bury in rice the whole night. This will suck out moisture in your device. Let's hope the rain hasn't spoilt vital components already...

I use Redwolf Recovery on my note 5a but couldn't update after downloading the OTA via updater. It was just wasting my data.

Delivery period these days is a hit or miss from them. Just give it at least 3 weeks in your mind, might come faster.

It's not on playstore, you have to download the apk from elsewhere. If your device is still the Redmi Note 5, you'll need to unlock bootloader first, then flash TWRP so you can enable camera2api, before you can install gcam.

You can do that with any device that can browse the Internet, just login to micloud.com, input your Mi account username and password, and there you go.

That is if your sim is still intact and it is online ( one's data being switched on). But once ur sim is out, ur mi account is as useless as Buhari

Try Orangefox. I haven't used it though.

If you are on oreo, use the oreo version of the recovery.

You can also try the oreo version of redwolf

my package has been in transit for 17days via china post registered air mail.its not fast .ali express standard shipping is the fastest from china to Nigeria maximum of two weeks

Tap the menu option on the top left And select 'downloads. Then use the search bar.

You should have magisk Uninstaller zip file in your internal memory before you go about downloading any mod just in case you enter bootloop

Incremental updates are those little updates we get via OTA usually between 20-700MB. Full ROM is downloaded from MIUI website around 1.7GB and it is installed manually. People who have custom recovery mostly have to update their phones manually by downloading the full ROM.

Hello everyone, i got my phone on wednesday repaired and working perfectly well. The reception i got was a powerful one, i appreciate the sales rep and the xiomi fb admin you guys are the best, words cant appreciate you guy.
