I use Redwolf Recovery on my note 5a but couldn't update after downloading the OTA via updater. It was just wasting my data.
There are some particular steps to follow to achieve successful OTA update through Redwolf Recovery. Search online for it, preferably Xda.

Biko forgive my "villageness", what's the use of this electronic bands? Are they just watches or there's a way you can connect it to your phone and for what purpose pls?

They serve a host of functions based on the users' priories. They were primarily designed to help in acquiring data & providing the user's stats with regards to fitnesss & exercise regimes. And yes they are paired with a smartphone for setup and display of this data.

They can also be used as fashion accessories, electronic watches, reminders, notification alerts, for wireless payments etc.
The producers keep adding more features as the days go by.

I've read an article where it's been observed more & more persons are switching to smart bands rather than traditional wrist watches that only display time & cost more.

Presently even makers of traditional wrist watches such as Fossil, Montblanc, Nike, Tag Heuer etc are now into the smart band/watches market too.

Coming late, buy the Redmi 7. Xiaomi devices have proven to be less fault prone. Besides, the days of availability of spare parts as being a major factor for purchasing smartphones has gradually come to an end. As you can easily order any spare parts, accessories or replaceable online.

Next download simple gallery app. You can get it on playstore or F-Droid.


It has inbuilt recycle bin which you can use to retrieve any pix

Battery life is dope. I unboxed it at 46% around 4pm. Despite all the pressing and testing it's at 42% presently.

Least I forget it's on 24/7

Hope you are not confusing Redmi note 7 for Redmi 7? You can't get it at that price anywhere, except on some flash sales on Jumia.
