Guy, it might still be possible u still have about 5 semesters to go... But u would need to sacrifice. I was in a similar situation while in Uni a long time ago, I made the decision and I ended up with a 2.1 and that 2.1 took me out of poverty.
Firstly u need to calculate the minimum GP u have to make each semester to make the 2.1.
Then have a written plan.
U might need to change your social circle start walking with d First Class students and follow their ways.
Think of it as a chance to better your life.

I had almost the same CGPA at the start of 200l and I still made 2.1 by working smart and praying.

2 carry overs in 3 units courses.....that's a knock out. Not possible, even your 2.2 will be weak 2.2 . That is below 3.0

you don't get it, the student ultimate rule says: Never get less than C in any 3 units course. Now you have 2 carryovers in 3unit courses. That semester is defeated already

Studying a science course differ from an social science course, when the level keep on getting to the top that's when u will know the course u ar studying, when u reach 300L no body will give u an A in IT and the courses at that level are top notch, very very complicated topics

Certain Universities grade Year One lowly, and appropriate different levels of your stay into aggregate %s.

Same issue I had in first year. Although I never failed any course. Just five Es in total and enough Cs in first and second year was enough to make me end up with 2.2 even with plenty As in 3rd and final year. I didn't kill myself cos that's not the decider of destiny. It's gonna be hard considering how tough your department is. Zero your mind and take whatever you see in good fate. Please don't contemplate suicide at any point still. Just be fine. 2.1 or no 2.1
