Yeah,I just saw the highlights of their game..seems quite intelligent for his age,trying to figure out his best position tho..he's not really no 10,more like a number 8 ,very advanced and mobile...good things await him at this stage of progression..

Just imagine him in that AM position behind Martial (instead of Mata or Lingard ) , interchanging positions with the 2 wingers and CF at will. Lots of goals guaranteed.

The biggest thing I admire about that kid is his mentality, not even his technique or skills (which are great BTW). He always wants to do things on the pitch- create chances, score, assist, etc.

He is fresh and untested though, but Ronaldo, Rooney and Giigs were fresh and untested at some point in their careers too. Atletico Madrid suits his mentality, I think he’ll perform well there.

2. Nobody takes pre-season serious, let's play our first few games of the season before you go this route. Of course, I wish us well, I like the intensity, I pray it is sustained till end of the season.

Hehe, to be fair, things have slightly improved, and of course things improved when OGS was appointed caretaker manager. What matters however is for the team to maintain this till the end of the season.

You can loose all preseason games and win the league, but it is out of place to win such games and not make top 4.

We hope for the best!

To be very honest, I'm not too impressed with this team, especially the midfield. With Lingard, Matic, Shaw, Fred and Rashford the pitch we couldn't string meaningful passes against Tottenham. These five are expected to make the first team every match day. I still have great fear for our midfield. If these ones can't put in the work every match day, we will be back to biting our fingers during every match.

PS it would take a major shake to bin Matic, Lingard and Mata. I don't see that happening this season

Arsenal are currently favorites to sign him for €80m, as announced by Fabrizio Romano less than an hour ago...

He had a not-so-good tournament, and even got benched. Hence, the less talk about it.

If United had lost a match, you won't even realize that it's preseason because of the kind of comments one would see here. Some don't even make any comments till United loses a match.

And no sane person takes preseason matches as the true picture of how the season will go for teams not doing well in those matches.

Hazard dribbled past like four Barcelona players to score in preseason that didn't mean they wouldn't have hacked him down in a real match.
