Next week is going to be significant, let us brace for impact.

I have started answering "Oil Money" by faith, Oluwa is involved.

I don't know about you but If you have thought of an NNPC Alias for yourself, kindly share, if you haven't, let your faith move you to think of one and share.

Wrote CBT in Lagos, wasnt bad but success stories made me doubt I was going to be called I knew I wasnt scoring a 90% but was still optimistic. Then mail for oral interview came in.

On interview day, dressed as best as I could and drank a full bowl of confidence. While waiting to be called I started interacting with fellow hopefuls making as much jokes as I could. Then my turn came, waited to be asked to sit before taking my seat.
First question, may we meet you in 1 minute, I was brief( name, school, nysc and current employment). One of them commend brief and precise
Next question was tell me one project you worked on during your IT and tell us what you learnt, gave a story and team work was what I learnt.
Third was a problem you encountered and how you used technical abilities to solve, gave a story
Fourth was where do I see my self in 5 years, I said management or maybe junior management they laughed amongst themselves and asked how I plan to make that happen I said continuous trainings and development he said that's what he wanted to hear
Fifth was when I had a personal issue and how I came out of it, I gave a story
HSE question was what are dangerous practices and what are dangerous practices on the road, gave 3 for drivers and 2 for pedestrians (gave 4 at first but they pushed for a 5th)
Asked if a had a question I said no but commended the process, they smiled but it felt like they've heard it a million times. I thanked them and left.

I still carry the same optimism as that of the CBT times, like almost everyone including me thinks he/she had an OK interview

It was panel 39. The panel chairman is an SAP Specialist and I think head of the Supply Chain Management division in NNPC. He wore a black suit, black shirt and red tie. Funny thing is the first thing they asked me was if I remembered any of their names after they had introduced themselves. I think I murdered the last name (the man sat to the right of the chairman) cause it got them all laughing

Gidigan:

I don't even know the panel number. I did mine July 9th though.
Meanwhile is there anyone who did his or her interview on July 9th that has received tf?

Hello Everyone!
I was scheduled for 9th July, 7am.
We were only four present when the list was called for 7am to go meet our panelist.
I was the third to be interviewed. I was invited into the room by the secretary, then offered a seat by the chief panelist. The chief panelist asked how was my journey from Lagos, and when I arrived into Abuja. Then each of the panelist introduced themselves, and I was asked to introduced myself in 30 seconds.
I kept it short and simple , highlighting the necessary info I believed they wanted to here, and they nodded when I was done.

The first question was "from your CV, I can see you have a knowledge of database, views, and tables since you are a technology officer at xyz bank, tell us what is stored procedure in database" I explained what a procedure is and what "stored" meant and related it to database

The second question was "tell us a time when a colleague at work , wasn't doing their duty, how did you react" I answered in the direction of trying to know why the colleague wasn't doing their job and motivating the colleague in the way I could.

The third question, " Give me five safety precautions to take while driving on a rainy day" ****Use of wiper, Seatbelt, Driving at a reduced speed , traffic light, Use of pointer were my response.

The Fourth question, "from ur CV , you talked about disaster recovery on database, tell us a time when you recovered from a disaster" My response was to ask if they were talking about recovering from a work related disaster or life experience (personal) and they said a personal experience, I gave my response, while they noted certain things down on their papers.

Then I was asked by the chief panelist, if I had any question, I commended the whole recruitment process and asked the chief panelist "what would be his advise to a newly employed GT into the organization" He laid emphasis on being open minded. I was thanked for coming, and on my way out , the safety officer called me back for the famous handshake, lol.

I believe I did my best, praying to God for Success!

Wishing us all the best, irrespective of the outcome.

Pfffff....Panel 6

Yes I was asked to name 5 regulatory bodies to NNPC, and their interest in NNPC by Panel 6. I was also asked the 5 types of risk that could affect NNPC operations and their mitigants. I was asked to differentiate between Renewable and non Renewable Energy and give 5 examples, 5 advantages and 5 disadvantages each. 2 situational questions and 1 safety question. EH - Auditor
