Preferring mi9se to Redmi k20 doesn't make it a less superior phone.. I prefer k20pro to mi9se because i've handled both and i settled for the pro... Just buy what will make you have big grin when sleeping at night... Cheers

This is the first time I'd be using a Xiaomi device(Redmi 3 Pro). It's cool and kind of odd when people ask you the kind of phone you Use and you say Xiaomi (most people do not know jack about it).
I just want we using this device regardless the model to meet here and share tips on how to get the best out of it eg. Rooting, unlocking, flashing, Upgrading, etc.
Please lets make this work and Shout out to @elijahdre for getting me this wonderful device.

Is the Mi 9T (6gb/128gb) that much of a difference in performance against Redmi Note 7 Pro (6gb/128gb)? I know of the selfie camera, design and SDG difference. My interest is the overall day to day usage, which offers more value for money?

Someone on the thread said he experienced similar issue only when light is coming directly into the camera...they said it cant be corrected with a software update and thats how the pop up mechanism is....their words not mine o..hehen.

Hmmmmm...... Hopefully this scenario will only occur a small percentage of the time.
Although it can be very annoying whenever it happens.

PS: I know generally that there is nothing that can't be corrected. Sometimes the solution may just be a very small tweak somewhere.

the mi9t is better in every aspect
screen, battery life, socs, camera etc

it all depends on ur budget
if u cn get the mi9t it's a better buy anyday anytime
dat doesn't mean rn7pro is bad
it's a nice phone

Samsung is in Korea and compete with iPhone,
The two are the best phone in USA and world standard,
Even though Samsung and iphone can have it manufacturing branch in china and othet countries you don't compare it with China brand in terms of technological inovation,
RedMI umidigI and other standard China brand are all equally good too but you don't compare with samy and iphone wink

The price is just about 10k difference,so thats not the issue for me, I would be more hyped if the Mi 9T had an 8gb/256gb variant and that 60k plus difference of K20 pro is not an interesting proposition at this moment... I just tire for these companies self...

From your comments, it appears your budget hovers around that 100k+ range and you wouldn't mind adding a little to it.
If I were in your shoes, I would go for the Mi9T over the RN7pro. The former is just the better device overall in this context.

I want to purchase a router (not the portable mifi) , I'll need your input on any reliable one
Budget is 30k

Preferably one with universal support, tying one down to one network nowadays makes one disadvantaged.

Support for ntel, spectranet, Glo, MTN, Airtel, 9mobile 4G networks.. (the most important are the first 3 though, but I can maybe exclude the Glo)

Bonus if it has backup battery.

Your contributions and advice/suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Go for this you won't regret it!

RN7 camera is dam cool. When I see people complain about camera I feel like to extend slap from my phone to them. I have handled Samsung mid range phones and I can boldly tell you that the camera is better.
