That's why it's good to mix up with people, interact and be informed and know what's up. Some would just keep to themselves.

very good opinion I am not taking this with anger in fact I am very happy you just reacted like this. that is because that is how you women think, you think with emotion while men think with logic, one and zero, true or false, on and off.
But lemme tell you as a guy what we guys face from women on the streets of everyday life are what we usually share or post with each other everyday right here on Nairaland. I as a person have a great deal and the utmost respect for women. but nowadays there are problems for a guy to easily approach a woman on the street, toast her truly with your heart and mind that you want to marry her and she will truly agree and consent and say yes. Instead she will manipulate you. demand for money, demand for luxury, buy me Gucci, buy me Ferrari, that is what the guys are facing now, that is the new devil in town.
That is the new order of the day and it is very bad. some authors call it the pvssy cartel and I don't blame them. so that is a very big problem in our society.
If we can go back to olden days where our fore fathers and parents love one another without list or demanding for money to the extent of "do you want to kill me?" extent
They had true love, but nowadays, it is becoming more and impossible to marry women anymore and that is why prostitution and oloshoism is now viral and widespread
Because to an average guy, he will think it is cheaper for him to pay a prostitute 3k or 4k for a night and be pleased whereas his girlfriend will be demanding 50k or or 100k from him for just plaiting her hair not to talk of fixing her nails.
So that is what the guys are facing so next time before you start to pour your emotions, have some sympathy or compassion for we the guys too on the streets
That is the reality of modern day. that is what we are passing through
Note I don't hate women. I am not close minded person, you can correct me if I am wrong. I have loved once before and she has broken my heart, its still didn't mean I won't love again.
But we are just saying the reality of our modern society. it is the truth whether we like it or not

Having so much experiences about men starting from my father, shows that not all men are emotionally mature, calling them a "man", is just a title.

Because some men do not know how to own up to their responsibilities.

While some are basic misogynists, they are always trying to prove a point about the female gender, forgetting that the person that gave birth to them, nursed them and raised them is their mother, a "woman".


You are fully aware of your actions, you walk up to a lady on the pretence that you love her because of your freaky fantasies, have your way with her and get her pregnant.


You now put all the blame on the lady, some will even deny the pregnancy, some will accept it but make sure they frustrate the living light out of that woman, turning her into an empty basket with big holes.


My question is why couldn't you use protection, when you had the chance, why put a woman in the family way, when you are not emotionally mature to handle life.


Some men too, falls into the category of not paying the children's school fees, not paying the house rent not even leaving a dime at home to cater for the family.

Yet, you call yourself the head of the family. As you read this article if you fall into this category ask yourself "what are the things that qualifies you to be a man? "


To be responsible means you have to deal with issues properly, you have to be accountable for the decisions you made, you have to sacrifice some things and handle your life with dexterity, it also means to be independent, to be able to stand up and defend your actions which automatically makes you a man.


So you cannot be living in your parents house and still impregnate a woman, how would you deal with that, you're not even mature enough to decide what you really want for yourself.


You cannot be stingy and think marriage is for you, that trait will not make you responsible to the family you are making.

She gave me a long list of what a man should look like, I asked her can you please give me five responsibility of a woman, she couldn't name one. Responsibilities of women but some women still fall short of it

1. Women are pioneers of the nation which automatically makes them give birth to children who holds down the nation. She has to be a mother. Being a mother comes with a whole bunch of responsibility which limits her freedom and makes her nuture her children that are looking up to her to be better in the society. Most of us were brought up by a single mother and here we are today, trying to build what's left of the society.

2. Being supportive in the home :- A woman should be supportive of the husband, most women dodge this kind of responsibility because of some insecurities, which is very bad.
There's nothing there if we actually get foodstuffs with our own money for our kids, take them out on a proper treat without the father, the man would go to work, she would go to work too, the gains from both side is supposed to make the family fulfilled.

3. Get an education or vocational training :- Like I said being a woman, it carves a woman naturally into being very responsible, thats y at an early stage, a girl child is taught so many things about life and her roles to play and that shouldn't skip going to school because when the father isn't around, she would be there with the children to guide, tutor, train and explain difficult terms with them, help them with their assignment, follow up their I.Q and thinking faculty.

4. Knowing how to match the family and the social life of everyone in it:- Naturally when matters arises with puberty, I don't know how your family works but for a few people, we run to our mum to explain things to us and elaborate why we feel those changes in our body.
Or "when you hardly awake to meet your father probably because of his work and late night shifts and woman would be the bond there, an emotional handbag to receive your pain and doubts.. Kudos to mothers.

5. Irrespective of how bitter and rude some women are, part of the responsibility of being a woman is to inculcate words of wisdom into their children's mouth, its to pray for them, while everyone is sleeping at night, it's to sacrifice her precious sleep and attend vigils to make sure her family is purified spiritually.

Now writing this down, I remember a lot in the past and I see that if you have never come across a responsible woman or sensible one, then change the way you generalize things because if u keep saying "it's a donkey", even a lion will pass and you'll still call it a donkey.

Not every woman is a "woman", some just aged really quick, they're yet to find their goals and achievement and aspirations in life. It all deals with how you were brought up if truly you collected the training. And the way you think. After all is said we are all human inside.. Only, our gender both male and female, naturally writes down our roles and responsibilities for us.

So please when I say "some", I didn't generalize things and I would really like it if some men just stop talking somehow on this platform, no one knows anyone here, we are all mature minds. I'm not a feminist.

I'm a woman and believe me sometimes I get hooked up in situations I wish I were a man. In fact most of my friends are guys and when I mean responsibility I know what I'm saying, I wasn't talking to all the guys on this platform.

Now any woman that wants you to have sex with her without condom and says "sebi you'll collect the pregnancy", does not understand so many things and if you check well you'll see it started from her background now as a man.. That statement is alarming. You don't know if she has herpes or that's how she's been having unprotected sex around or if you're the third person she's coming to see.. Why would u still bleep her? Did she use jazz to talk to you? Simple, no oh... I can't.. That's all.. If she wants to go she should go... At least it's saving u of an unplanned pregnancy and unplanned STD.

let's be guided please. No one is forcing you to love a toxic person as long as u know this person is toxic and you keep being with them, you alone will suffer for it.

So saying no to some kinds of demands and standing your ground is a kind of responsibility.
