Wouldn't ever advise anyone to buy it as a first car.
It's not Kazeem friendly. Regardless of what anyone tells you, 99.5% of our mechanics are Kazeems.
The tools to diagnose, install and update modern (05 and above) Volkswagens are not readily available in Nigeria.
They are not inherently bad cars buy we do not have the expertise and resources to fix them and there lies the problem..
I wish op the best sha but it's going to be a long road to recovery. I hope it doesn't end with the car having a carburetor engine or being butchered in owode

How many modern 01 to date mercs make it to the 300k mile mark before they end up in the butchers yard?

I used an older model Passat and the only issue then was the battery draining away by morning. I replaced it because that's the battery it came with from obodo oyibo and it did serve well till it was sold. VW is a good brand but I think they don't do well in long partly because of our kazeems. Been eyeing one Q7 like that in Warri but my liver de do me somehow.
