If you are in danger or in need of help as a soldier, in a public place, it's almost always a bad idea to just 'deny". It's more important to be specific. Pointing at people and telling them lies will be more less nonsense. The comments afterwards effect can be a real biiitch sometimes soja.

Why not work on your ethics and attitude instead of seeking for public sympathy and attention like an unprofessional stupid solidier.

There's nothing patriotic in Nigerian army. It's job first for them . These are the main reasons Nigerian soldiers get into the army:

* Lack of Job elsewhere
* To protect themselves and their family members
* Many of these people including those who go into police work will never attempt it if they have options elsewhere.

What is patriotic about a soldier who don't accord citizens their respect? Who broke the law of the land at will?

Who don't respect civil authorities?

I used to think Nigerian soldiers were wicked, heartless until i went for my service... Then everything changed.. Nigerian soldiers can jonze eh. Infact they hv first class in jonzing.. They joke alot, generally they are fun to hang around with...

I also found out that the main reason they are harsh to civilians is because a typical black man only respects those they fear...

Even in our universities, we only respect those lecturers wey we dey fear...

In our secondary schools sef, students only respect and fear teachers wey dey beat them...

So if you think about it, its not their fault that they maltreat civilians... Na our society shape them. Our society is just something else.

US citizens love their Army because their Army do their job for the love they have for the citizens.
But in Nigeria, reverse is the case and the reason for that is that, the early soldiers saw Nigerians as inferior being, they tagged them 'bloody Civilians', they treated them like animals most especially during the millitary regime but now, i think they are improving.
They need so much love ever than before, they see life now, beyond barrack, bush or war front. Thank God for the new orientation.
Since you guys now understand that you need our love to survive, do more on that; publicity, reorientation, re-branding and all the likes possible, and i promise you guys that you will see more love from nigerians and you will be able to triumph over ever Nigerian Enemy...take that from me.
Even when the CoH are wailing in guise of political sentiments, rest assured that 80% of the Citizens will have your back which sufficient enough for you guys to be victorious.
