This is Nigeria National team and it must be opened to every eligible players.

Rohr will call Ujah ahead of all our strikers in EPL and Ligue 1 if he bangs in goals in the Bundesliga. Except they do well in UEFA Champions before he will reconsider.

Sure

If he does well he can be Called up it's just simple ,nobody is blacklisted from playing for the eagles

He scored double digit goals in the bundesliga consistently for three good seasons until he left and came back from China.

He can.

I haven't heard much about this guy.

Instituting the principle that the only basis for selection is continous consistent top quality performances in your club and league.

At one stage the Bundesliga was rated number 2 in Europe. We had a player who had not played any first team games invited to the SE.

What I am saying he should at least have been invited to see what he can do and if he performs then selection.

Admittedly not impressive he only scored 4 Bundesliga goals all season but then KC scored 4 over two seasons and was still considered.

There is a DOUBLE STANDARD.

Well, he made the SE squad 7 times and only has 5 games... 2 starts and 3 sub appearances and he scored in none. Even against Tahiti, he flopped. That guy shaa.... Let him ball for Union Berlin in the new bundesliga season first and time will do the rest.

Strikers sometimes need time to adjust just like ighalo. Right now he is one of the qualified candidates for the job.

What happened to him last season? How many did he score? And how old is he now that you think his case is akin to Iggy? Iggy struggled for Nigeria in the GWG for years yes... But he was mid-20s at least... Ujah is 29 this October. Remind me how old Iggy is now plss...

That was his first full season after he left the bundesliga for China. He only started 6 games out of 22 matches and managed to score 4 goals.

Despite that, he was bought by Union Berlin for 2m Euros. Can you explain why a club will waste €2m on an average player in the Bundesliga?

Ighalo became a member of Nigeria National team at 26 while Anthony became a member of the national team at 23.

Ighalo was brought back to the team at 28 by Rohr. What is problem if the same Rohr brings back Anthony Ujah to the team at 28?

sometimes your talk eehhh.
only God knows where you get those words from....

if you were the super eagles coach...on your first match player happens to score the only goal that earned your team victory despite the eye brows been raised when you appointed as coach...
then after during the qualifiers he continues with the scoring spree...

you've watched him in training and you know what he can offer and you know of his potentials...

will swiftly forsake such a player all because he was having a tough club career...?

you think you watch or know the German league more than Rohr?
same question I wanna ask forgiveness?

the German and French league ..tends to be Rohr's favourites... so trust me any good player from that league will always be called by the old franco-German coach....

please next time whenever you wanna argue for a player like Ujah leave Nacho out of it...he is not the cause of the player national call ups misfortune.

can you guys please stop canvassing for a know flop to take ighalo's place...
comparing him with ighalo self makes me wonder...

one of the heir apparent just got signed up by Lille and KC has found his golden boat again... and hopefully Awoniyi tie the Nice deal...
so please we still have Odey and co coming...

let Ujah prove himself this season...if he does... one or two match is enough for him to show us what he has to offer the national team is not like club football where a barren striker would be tolerated and allow to still play....moreover we don't have a good pattern of play where any of our players can conveniently score without the main striker having to do the job always

here we are celebrating some good deals for our players and hoping the rest scale through...someone is mentioning ujah.

we need strikers that will keep the ground running when the opportunities comes currently we are still crying over V. Moses absence and here ighalo has retired... the vacuum will be too much if we don't fit in a very good and hungry striker

Ujah was invited by keshi and oliseh. he failed to impress and stake a claim to the striker's position in the super eagles

This guy was a consistent performer in the Bundesliga.

Though he was called to the national team at the early stage of his career in the Bundesliga when he scored 12 goals in the league but was ignored ever since then despite the fact that he continued to score double digit goals for another two seasons.

12 and 14 goals for that matter yet looking at Anthony Ujah, he doesn't know how to play.

This is the first time he scored 4 goals in the Bundesliga in a full season. Maybe because he played 9 matches coming on in the last 14 - 8 minutes of those matches.

of course the door of the national team should always be open to anyone performing consistently at a high level for his club but like you i agree that ujah at this moment might not be the solution. apart from the fact that age is not on his side i was really not impressed by his performance in GWG the few times i saw him play. it would take a drastic upward change in form before i think he should be considered for the super eagles

Rohr was not around when Anthony Ujah scored double digit goals for 3 seasons consecutively but be rest assured he will be called if he replicate the same form this season.

We are talking about the German coach who loves anything German.

This is a very big fat lie. Ujah left Norway for Germany in 2011 to team up with Mainz where he played 12 games with a paltry 2 goals return, from 2011-2013.

His next stop was Cologne in the Bundesliga2 where he enjoyed a whit purple patch, not the Bundesliga as u claimed. With Cologne in the Bundesliga2 he played a total of 62matches with 15 goals from 2012-2014.

In the 2014/15 season with same Cologne now in the Bundesliga, he played a total of 32matches with only 10 goals

2015/16 he joined Bremen, scored 11 in 30 appearances, then he left for China.

Back from China, he joined Mainz again to score a paltry 4 in a total of 23.

All those top 20 defenders in bundesliga in that link you put ,all of them are better than fikayo tomori ,you are just beating around the bush writing long note without making valid point

Fikayo is a championship player and can't be compared to a bundesliga player ok .

Firstly, I probably would have said that without any HESITATION two seasons ago. Fikayo was almost hopeless at Brighton then just about Ok at Hull.

But right now not ANYMORE. He is actually a Chelsea player who has played albeit only a few games but he still a Chelsea player.

It's not what league or club you play in but what you actually do in it, that's pertinent. Top performances get you noticed and bigger clubs come for you. For example Osimhen from Charleroi to Lille.

As it stands, it's almost CERTAIN that Fikayo Tomori will be playing in the EPL for Everton, Aston Villa or somebody else.

So because he is NOW a EPL player according to you he cannot be compared to a Bundesliga player, that's your principle not mine.

You are much more intelligent than that your statement in bold.

He was just coming up then at 23. One match is not enough to condemn a player.

He came on as a substitute against Tanzania. Not enough to rate him.
