She didn't marry the least guy, she married the best. She was in a relationship when her current husband approached her. She refused to take him serious because she felt he may be a player, and also the tribe issue. He continued to pressure her, till she became just friends. From simple friendship, they landed where they are today. Need I mention how long they dated, I rather not. Because you won't even believe it.

Exactly, I laugh at her perceptions about ladies, relationships and marriage. She even refers to a guy of 40 as still young, and a lady of 35 as old. Take a look at the current pictures of Ini Edo at 39, or Omotala
in her 40(s), etc, would any sane person call any of these ladies old? I have colleagues who are 30-35, even after having kids, they still look good and can't be seen as old. Ladies who age anyhow probably do not know how to take care of themselves.

It's even unfortunate that Nigerian women are the ones encouraging men to believe that marrying ladies within their age range is wrong, through write-ups such as this. Go abroad it's not so. Men abroad don't discriminate the age range to marry from. It's all about the Nigerian or African mentality anyway. Even at that, we still have men who see nothing wrong marrying within their age bracket.

Funny enough, you'd never see a guy create a thread like this to talk down on his fellow men, but you will always see ladies write threads to intimidate ladies about aging fast, menopause, etc. We will get there!

Stop this ignorance. You think all the ladies that you see getting married to young single guys are all below 30? When next you attend a wedding, go and ask for the lady's birth certificate. I married above 30 and I am so glad I waited. My close friend got married at 34(a virgin) to a single guy. Infact many of my friends married at over 30 to single guys in their age range.

I don't know why you are making myopic baseless assertions. If you can't marry a lady above 30, no problem but don't speak for everyone.

This kind of restricted and shallow mentality is peculiar to Nigerian men... mostly the unexposed ones who still think traditionally and inside a box. I would rather marry at 40 than marry a man with such mentality.

Marriage is not a prize, an achievement or a race to be run; first to get there gets a prize. You can rush in and rush out or stay and suffer because of how people like you think.
