My only issue with OGS during this TW is the way Lukaku is being treated. I don’t blame Lukaku, I will be actively looking for a new team if I was in his shoes also.

They say Lukaku can’t play the fluid attacking set up and I wonder if they watch Lukaku in Belgium. Imagine the coach telling you you will be back up to someone you are clearly better than. Anyways season will start in the next 7 days.

At some point Pep was trying to freeze Aguero out for Jesus and it wasn't a secret.

OGS is the manager while Ed is the guy that negotiates the deals.

I thought the manager would have a style of play he wants yo deploy and identify players he believes can help him achieve that style which is supposed to help win or at least challenge for the title.

Now I believe Ed and Ole should have sat down to discuss. Ole tells him the style he wants and targets.

Then I believe OGS IS THE ONE THAT SHOUKD IDENTIFY WHOEVER HE WANTS AND GIVE LIST TO ED.

But its looking like na Ed and co dey dictate who should be bought or sold which to me makes no sense.

The case of swap deal with juv, the question is does Dybala fit into the style OGS wants to play? Ed can advice on cost of a player being too much which will make the manager identify a less costly player that still fits into his style. This is the reason the manager should insist on his own players because whether he gets his players or not he is the one that gets fired when things go south. If Ole is the one rejecting Lukaku, but identifying Dybala, fenandes and Maguire, get them for him.

I don't understand how some other person would/should dictate to a manager who he should or should not buy? I must be missing something here.

One thing I will always respect Lukaku for is his professionalism. If you are waiting for him to go to the media and talk bla bla bla, you will sleep there.

It’s open secret that Ole doesn’t fancy Lukaku, to be fair to Ole, every manager has the kind of striker they want but trying to rely on a striker that hasn’t hit 15 goals a season over a 20 goals striker is writing letter to ruins.

One of our major problems last season was lack of goals, unless we get in another striker (not looking likely with Ed) then letting Lukaku go is a very stupid decision. Rashford cannot lead us anywhere.
