Two things actually....

1. Salah simply got better and was utilised to his strengths effectively by Klopp who played hin much closer to the 18' yard box from the RWF role. At Roma, Salah had to sometimes hug the touchlines and occasionally cut into central areas... But at Liverpool, he was consistently played closer to the opponents' box in the final third.

2. Serie A emphasizes defence much more than the EPL.
