you spoke well my brother. That's love by Nigerian standard. Marriage advances can't be smooth if you no get house, steady income stream, car. Even Nigerian matchmaking platforms would caution you.

Sometimes i wonder if we are from same Planet. If the man Dont have a house of his own, he have no business talking about marriage, will he feed the family with grass (or you are among the set looking for women to feed them?)

hey, don't get me wrong. Marriage begins from somewhere... dating, relationship, to courtship. Many great things can happen during these phases which correctly projects life as a process, and thus makes it realer. My point is, the concept of 'ready-made' is being overemphasised, as an essential prerequisite for marriage. What happens to other qualities? And some, in bid to pair fast, fake being ready-made. And this has led to many unfortunate events. Imagine a lady ending up with a ready-made suitor (like one Nigeria slapping, woman-assaulting senator we all know). Is that an ideal endpoint for marriage. Get me now?
