Someone invested 10 million for 91 days and got 9.764 million debited from his account. Is this possible to get just 240k approx on such investment or some kind of fraud is in place?

Yes
If the rate is 9.75 or 9.8 the interest is either 243k+ or 245k. Bank charges will also be taken from the 243k+ or the 245k

@9.75%= 0.0975*10,000,000*(91/364)
=975,000*0.25 = #243,750-bank charge
@9.8%= 0.098*10,000,000*(91/364)
=980,000*0.25 = #245,000- bank charge

it may not increase BC d Xmas shopping is short lived and seasonal. now people suppose dn dey bring in goods for Xmas.so why still d high demand for savings(tbills).

I must tell people as a bizman, sales really has declined. do u know DT many bizmen prefer to go save their huge money and just use small amount to do Biz. this is BC buyers rate has reduced.

during d election I was more worried about buharis approach to economics than where he came from. some of us who were against his second term had already seen where his policies re driving Nigeria to. then we even hoped DT any other person DT is not buhari even if its a goat should win. at least DT goat might be a listening and ready to learn goat which should be better than buhari that is not ready to learn. d Yoruba's thought its a war of d tribes for superiority. its not its about the survival of d people in this country.
just conduct research without bias and see how many people their life has grown from worse to worst under this govt. I tell u more people will be poorer as d years progresses under buhari.

You no dey hear word. Keep political and ethnic ramblings out of this place. We're here to make money, not talk politics.

If you have problems with any tribe, that's your headache, just don't use it to disturb us here.

Go to your bank and inform the customer care your intention, they will direct you. You don't need any special requirement. Have your money in your bank account, for bank like FBN and IBTC 100k or more and get to your bank Monday of the week of primary auction or any business day for secondary market, complete the required form which doesn't require any attach document and you are good to go.

Haba my bother, try to read earlier pages now. Primary and secondary TB markets extensively explained before.

Primary market usually available every 2 weeks but with little distortion. Secondary market available to buy anytime based on your bank's availability.

First bank secondary market for today has 244days at 10.25%. Also 321 days @ 10.20%

9.75% 91 days in primary market. And I got 9.8% for 63 days in secondary market. I think primary and secondary is almost the same. No need to be waiting for primary auctions.
Actually sometimes you get a better rate with secondary market.

Don't let them peddle different stuffs to you so as to make their target.

The rate on I-invest app is juicy.

I just saw maturity period at 30/01/2020

1.5m would pay 1.597m at 12.35 % I'd have gone for this one, but I don already collect 29k from Fidelity maturity at 17-oct-2019
