In modern day Nigeria, Yorubas dont have the backbone to fight for their own independence nation like Igbos once fought for Biafra.

There are things that Yorubas are good at, rising up to fight Nigeria for their sovereignty like Ignos once did is beyond Yorubas.

They are simply not made of that stuff. That's why they keep saying that Ojukwu ran away, to divert attention from the fact that 0jukwu did what no Yoruba man can ever do. To rise up and declare the independence and sovereignty of his people and fight Nigeria for for 3 years to keep it is no small feat.

A Yoruba can never ever do it. But if it is noise making, it will be a simple feat

Stop arguing with those idiots. Look throughout the comments of the topic, do you see anybody else supporting them they are not cowards. Even the non Igbos accounts that commented on this thread mocked them grin. The only people commenting about their so called self delusional "bravery" is only them and the one pretending to be non-afonja despite everyone already knows he is an Afonja. No body takes them seriously and all sees them as cowardly by the looks of it. Abeg, allow them to wail in peace now. Idk why you are stressing yourself out, arguing over delusions. You do realize you can't win a schizophrenic person's psychosis right?

We are talking about the Yoruba nation here. Is the black scorpion the Yoruba nation? Or is Victor Banjobtye Yoruba nation?

Yoruba as a nation cannot fight for their sovereignty. They may have one or two commanders like Adekunle and Obasanjo but that's about it. But as a nation, Yorubas dont have the stuff required to rise up and fight.

It is Igbos that can rise up, declare their independence and sovereignty as Biafrans, take up arms and rally behind Ojukwu to fight for 3 years to keep that sovereignty

That is the stuff of fighters

That is something the Yoruba nation can never do in a thousand years, to fight and defend their sovereignty

But if it is to defend noise making, I can give them that one

No wonder someone said you are semi literate. This is coming from someone whose army was led by a very capable and intelligent Yoruba man.

Geez! Do you even read the BS , you wrote? Somehow i don't think so!

How the hell is it better for you ibos to fight for freedom, lose 3 million souls and still remain "someone's slave?

Half a century after the war, you guys still haven't fully recovered from its aftemath, phychologically, economically, culturally, emotionally and yet are still a slave!

What do you mean? It's been a century since the first world war but it is still a very tropical and historical event amongst those it affected.

So is the second world war where over 50 million lives were lost by the allies in the quest for freedom.

As an Igbo man, I would rather fight for my freedom and sovereignty, even at the cost of 3 million lives, than to willingly become a slave. In other words, you must defeat an Igbo man before making him a slave

But in the case of Yorubas, because everybody already knows they can never lift a finger to fight for their sovereignty, they are already slaves without a fight.

So we Igbos laugh when we hear Yorubas talk about fighting. We Igbos that have fought the military might of Nigeria in the past for 3 years and know what it takes to embark on such thing.

Yorubas simply dont have the strength of character needed to do such a thing. Their strength of character is in noise making

Ok, so you fought for your freedom, was soundly beaten, lost 3million souls and still remains a slave.

In a way, we did fought for our freedom at Ore- would rather stay as a part of Nigeria (with all its imperfection) than became a vassal state to Ojukwu's rag-tag secessionists-cum-landgrabbing forces.

Better to fight for freedom and be beaten as an Igbo man than to be a Yoruba man who accepted Hausa/Fulani slavery because he had no guts to fight for his own sovereignty

You people are talking about Ore? The same people who did nothing when the Northerners went to Ibadan and slaughtered your own Regional Military Governor, Fajuyi, like a Chicken.

The same Northerners who took over Lagos and chased away Brigadier Ogundipe who was the rightful head of state.

Yorubas were actually held prisoner in their own land by the North

It is better for us Igbos to lose 3 million souls in our quest for freedom than to be spineless Yorubas who can never fight for their freedom even in a thousand years.

There is nothing like preventing war when it comes to freedom. Its either you fight for your freedom and hope for the best or you become someone's slave.

We Igbos proudly fought for our freedom, something the Yoruba nation can never ever do

You still think everything is all about fight, fight, fight! shocked cheesy In these days of ever increasing knowledge, strategy will always beat fighting any day, and adopting the right strategy can give you victory, without ever having to fight a war.

This thread is just getting interesting! cheesy

So after all the boasting about how bravely they fought and lost 3 million souls in the process, they are still lamenting on different threads, that the other tribes inflicted pain on them? Why? Aren't they proud of losing so many people due to their bravery??

The video is still on youtube where the garrulous epitomic chestbeater can be seen & heard pumping his hollow chest, saying how the other side ( the fed. Govt) is going to be surprised by what they are about to receive at the hands of his rag-tag bunch of misfits.

He also went further, promising his gullible kinsmen that even the flippin' grass of biafra will join in the fray.

However, the slimy mofo couldn't wait for the grass of biafra to join the war before hightailing it off, in the middle of the night-like a thief- with his favourite merc car and a ton weight of suitcases, presumably stuffed with remants of BOB-Bank of biafra- to slay oloshos in Abidjan whilst his hoodwinked "freedom fighters" and emotionally flawed folks are left to their fate.l

is that why kwankwaso told your oba to shut up in ibadan.
the only reason the north held tight to the southwest is because since igbos have repeatedly shown contempt for the nigerian project, the yoruba seems to be the only major tribe with strong interest in nigeria.
if the yoruba loses interest, nigeria becomes history.
IF THE YORUBA LOSES INTEREST AND THE IGBO RENEW INTEREST,NIGERIA WILL CONTINUE.

You IPOB Igbos on NL never learn. shocked Your ancestors left behind their investments in different parts of Nigeria, and fled to the South East during the war. undecided

It was only in Lagos, the SW and some parts of the North, that they got the proceeds of their investments back, after the war.

They lost their investments in Port-harcourt and a few other places. Till today, they are still wailing and lamenting over the loss of such investments, and the 20 pounds issue. sad

Well life itself is filled with risk

What is lost today makes way for a greater gain

No investment lost supercedes the gain of having an igbo nation.
