Please did you attend the interview physically or virtual? British Columbia is not part of AIPP so it means you will get LMIA to improve your chance of getting ITA.

Congratulations but I'm not sure if a work from home offer would qualify you for lmia or otherwise. I could be wrong though.

Hi everyone. Nice job you're doing here @hanna007. I've actually been reading up on this route for a while now and could only get info on canadavisa. Couldn't seem to find any related post on nairaland till I stumbled on this today... I'm close to the end with my ICES thank God. Documents were received on Mar 28. Planning on taking IELTS within the next month so I'm pretty hopeful about this thread...

Hanna007:
This is a thread on Atlantic immigration pilot program. It's for those that have low crs and no more means of boosting it. With the current crs cut off, one has to look for other options.

So as we go along I will explain how this program works. I'm also considering this program as I have low crs and pof

PS: I'm not an immigration lawyer or agent, I have read through this scheme and know how it works. So please let's help ourselves through this process. Thanks

Congrats! I advise you verify the authenticity of the job before revealing very personal, credit card information, or making any payments because of scammers.

Thanks @Hanna007 for this thread. I've actually been doing a lot of personal research on AIPP for a while now and had noticed only canadavisa had an active thread.

Closely following this thread....

Congratulations Richard,
I have few questions and suggestions.

1.) Are you going to be paid? I'm asking because I also came across a job that offers work from home for couple of months but no payment, if you're good after the free job, the 'll offer you a full time employment but no longer from home.
2.) Do they have branch in any of the Atlantic province? If yes, let them know they can sponsor you through aipp because LMIA is more tedious and time/money consuming.
3.) I 'll suggest you attend the training, get the job but be sure not to disclose sensitive information, if there is a way you can verify the coy pls do.
4.) Don't stop applying for jobs
I wish you all the best and please keep us posted.

No specific, just go through the list of designated employers for each province and search for who is hiring for your NOC

Congrats on your ECA and IELTS. Search through the page you ll see sample cover letter then add this clause to it, If you deem my qualifications and experience suitable for your position, please note that you may be eligible to hire me under the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program (AIPP). If you are facing labor shortages and having difficulties attracting or retaining talent, please consider the AIP and contact (the province) office of immigration for supports. Leave a link for Newfoundland and Labrador AIP page. Hope this helps, all the best.
