After President Buhari completed his first tenure as President of Nigeria, the 2019 General Election was a legal and legitimate time for Nigerians to decide whether to retain Muhammadu Buhari as President or replace him.

Mr. Omoyele Sowore like everyone else who believed they will do a better job as President joined the race, campaigned and shared their leadership ideas to the electorates. Nigerians considered it all and voted to retain the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari for another 4 years.

It is therefore unacceptable that a candidate like Sowore who lost heavily, couldn't even win a single State in Nigeria, will now resort to disguise as self help for a 2023 game plan when the new administration is yet to fully take off.

Mr. Omoyele Sowore must tender an unreserved apology to Nigerians for the following reasons:

1. He contested for President and lost, being a sore loser is pathetic. And starting a 2023 campaign now is unnecessary.

2. His call for REVOLUTION to kick out a duly elected President is a criminal offence.

3. The decision of millions of Nigerians who voted to reelect Muhammadu Buhari as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria far outweighs his self ambition.

4. His call for an uprising is a security threat, will disrupt public peace, bring anarchy, endanger lives and properties.

5. If Sowore has any thing meaningful to say, he could have posted it on his blog - SaharaReporters.

6. Sowore wants to light a match and lite a fire in Nigeria just to watch and see how much damage it can cause.

After tendering the apology, Sowore should endeavour and refund the over 150 million naira he ripped off his election supporters.

Government agent....This is why when the revolution comes, and it will, many will die, especially those in support of satanic leadership.

I hope when you get old, which you will, you will be denied visa to treat your illness abroad.

Buhari never won any election, but did win his (S)election.

No one that does not come from the military or value system favorable to the Royal Niger Company will not be permitted to “WIN” the presidency.

All those millions that voted bull is a matter of typing in whatever numbers or figures you like.

May those who were killed in election violence hunt you and you descendants

Any arrest based on incitement, violent disruption and removal of any legitimate and democratically installed government is pretty much a legal and lawful arrest.

According to Soworo, he is staging a revolution which is a violent removal of the government, not a peaceful protest or whatever you people trying to hide under, you are not Sowore sto stop speaking for him or twisting what he's trying to do. We heard him, we know what he's talking about and he's on video and audio shouting revolution we've seen his posters and revolution paraphernalia.

PMB went to the polls to secure his 2nd term in office via the ballot box, this is a democracy, but tyranny is having your way through violent revolution and illegal removal of a democratically installed government.

You people are either too young or just uneducated to know the meaning and implications of what you are agitating for, it comes with serious consequences.
A peaceful revolution or bloodless coup is an overthrow of a government that occurs without violence. If the revolutionists refuse to use violence, it is known as a nonviolent revolution.

& if said democracy is abused like our president is doing today with the undermining of the judiciary & stubbornness to release zakzaky & dasuki who are still in detention, or the elections having numerous flaws & evident foul plays or the system is certainly at a disadvantaged to many minority parties & ethnicities, & its the sitting president that's appoints the Inec chairman (both from the same religion & ethnicity)
how can a zealous person/group have a chance to make Nigeria better .
sometimes I wonder where una brains go for vacation

Sadly for you and Sowore, more Nigerians voted for and are on the side of the president than the people you voted for and I don't think they'll sit on their hands while you take away their votes, wishes, and mandate.

The polling booth is where true lovers and believers of democracy go to remove or install their leaders, not via anarchy or violent disruptions, you can not force yourself and your agenda on the Nigerian electorate or even take away their rights and freedom to elect their leaders.

Before shouting democracy all over the place, make sure you understand the meaning and tenets of democracy.

No, you should respect democracy and respect Nigerians and the choices they made at the polls. You should once again try your luck at the polls.

In America, the land of democracy, people die and get slaughtered every day, even today in less than 24 hours, 34 Americans were violently gunned down in the 3rd mass shootings in less than a week, but are Americans shouting revolution?

I know you people and I see where you are coming from, good or bad, you care less about Nigeria or the current government and you will jump on any anti-government bandwagon against this government.

Sowore never made mention of a violent protest with weapons, like you mentioned. Neither are we capable of over throwing a government through a peaceful protest but our voices could be heard. Same DSS who arrested dadiyatta for being actively against this rule on just a social media platform. Same revolution was held during Jonathan's era, imagine if he had locked up most of the protesters over it, what could have occurred. Your tyrant of a President made a mistake to arrest Sowore, that's a good reason to step out. We could be victims of his dictatorship 2moro.

See, if you are really not plagued by both, you should know perfectly well that the only democratic solution when it comes to change in leadership and registering your objection against your leaders is via the ballot box, not by anarchy, violent disruption, and overthrow.

The government you don't like and want to get rid of is the same government that the majority love and voted for, you can not take away their votes and mandate just because you don't like the government.

It's very hypocritical and delusional to preach democracy in one breath while in another breath shout and demand anti-democratic ideals.

At the end of the day in Nigeria and even the US, we are all entitled to our views regarding our leaders, but the only way in the US and in Nigeria to seek redress or address our love or rejection of our leaders is still the ballot box and the last time I checked, the Nigerian majority were satisfied and believed in the current government.

The minority can not stage a revolution to take away the choice of the majority just because they don't like the government, that's illegal and anti-democratic.

Let's meet at the polls in 2023, you might get lucky.

How about the disrespect to the slain soldiers and their families as well as a military playing politics with the government of the day? As we speak, we do not even know the current situation with insurgency in the north. We only have press statements conflicting with reports of journalists. You be the judge on whose report is anything close to the truth.

The economy? Do I need to say more? We are not as populous as India but all indices have shown we are regressing very fast into poverty.

Nations like Algeria and Sudan have witnessed revolution by their citizens with a consequent change in government. The people are proud of what they did as they took their destinies in their own hands.

Why should ours be different?
We seem to forget that laws and government are made for the people by the people. In our case here, is this really true at the moment?

It's about time the people took the power back and direct it into effective use for their own benefit.

If a revolution will allow us have the power again, I'm all for it.
In fact, it should not be limited to the Central government alone but every other arm or strata of government that has been seen to evidently sabotage the people for its or their selfish interest. If you asked me, I'll also suggest we get to even oust the men in the house of assembly as well. They have all proven to be toothless representatives of the people.

your ignorance to assuming that I voted for atiku indubitably shows you have nothing intelligent to contribute but to run your mouth with foolishness.

the 3rd force political parties I knew were wrong & failed to see the Nigerian voting behavior in the country all round every region... it was a matter of due ja vu...
& it will remain the same come next election.. so what were their chances in winning anything.. why majority in the north are illiterates & manipulated in their religious/ethnic sentimental voting...

if you have nothing useful to say than argue like a market woman.. stop quoting me abeg

We cannot support Sowore to disrupt public peace, endanger the lives of law-abiding Nigerians and bring anarchy to the land, just because he lost election.

Sowore is too young to be this desperate to the point of calling for a forceful overthrow of government. Not going to happen.

The confidence and use of the first-person word smacks of a statement emanating from the powers that be.

I will speak no further.
The people will speak on the streets.

please tell it to the victims that are losing a lot under this administration.. am not an atiku supporter ..
there are better persons for the job than either of the two.

once you done with you foolish comment.. do take it out to the trash because it neither benefits me or the millions of people dying or falling into poverty/depression

Wait for another election to vote in your preferred candidate for the job. Stop supporting desperate politicians who wants to use anarchy to enter Aso Rock through the back door.

Millions are dying in your dreams, not in Nigeria. Keep overblowing reality to suit your twisted agenda.

We are waiting. Please, do come out. Don't stay at home and be angry-twitting the foolishness of others. Come to the front line. Bloody misguided coward.

As expected, all these call for REVOLUTION is nothing but the handwork of politicians who contested and lost miserably. Shame on any youth who throws away their lives for the sake of such misguided agendas.
