Gud pm to you all, pls I need a clarification asp the work permit and the PR application. Is it possible for one to start the PR process after one might have enter Canada with his or her work permit or one must process both the work permit and the PR before living Nigeria.

Thank you

If you have a work permit, you can land and start your PR application. Also, you can do process both while still in Nigeria, so long as you are qualified for PR. Hope this helps.

Please i want to humbly ask, do one need to have a relative or friend over there as part of their requirements?

Another one is that can one person apply for IELTS as the principal applicant rather him and his mate together?

Please my moderator and my experience ones your kind answers are needed.

Thank you sir/madam.

Thank you for this vital info. However, what I asked as not been answered. And that is is it a must me and wife to do the IELTS or can I do it alone as the principal applicant? I am 44 and I have a B.Sc in Accounting with over 10years working experience in accounting and ICT...can go ahead alone for IELTS? Or is it a must me and my wife should do it since dis province don't work on points?

Your direct answer would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Wow! Thanks for this forum. I keep getting ineligible when I try to get into the pool. I guess this path to Canada will be easier for me. Good to be here.

I think this is the best route for you and your hubby. Age isn't on your side to be frank (as this alone will suck up a large portion of CRS you could have attained if you were way younger, say 10years at least), while PNP (the alternative route) is not only most times complicated for people without required relatives in Canada but as well, both time and money consuming! If you are persistent on this process enough, you'll pull through in due time.
Wishing you all the best madam.

Due to age EE won’t be feasible with the recent draws and PNP is Not so easy. You should try this AIPP, just be consistent and devoted in finding job offer because that’s the main hurdle.

First of all, get spouse to write ielts then rewrite ielts and try all ur best to ace it L8.5, R 8.5, W 7.5, S 7.5.with this you should have score slightly above 400. You stand a chance of getting a nomination. Province like Alberta select scores as low as 300 if you are an Administrative assistant (NOC 1221) or adiminstrative officer (NOC 1241) best wishes, please don't ever give up.
