The summary is:Glo is the cheapest but confirm first if it's super fast there like in my area, closely followed is Airtel, but make sure you buy a new SIM in any and register, the bonus are enormous and mouth watering.
MTN are criminals, they would use one hand to give and collect it with 4 hands like devil .
Etisalat would make you bankrupt,I mean return back to your village with Ghana must go bag.

To stop unsolicited SMS alert from 9mobile, text STOP to 22202 and you will be listed on "Do Not Disturb" list.

I went thru NCC to get this code, use it wisely.

That's an incorrect statement, wrong verdict. Someone said this statement beside me the other time. I collected his phone and reviewed his data consumption. It turned that his children used his data behind him to download. The man wouldn't have believed if I hadn't shown him because he was used to locking his phone.
I'm using MTN data to browse (from normal subscription to welcome back package to new mtn Yafun Yafun sim), their data rate is normal, confirmed by me. If I download something of 500MB, I wouldn't use more than 550MB on mtn

Bro, I'll be very honest with you o. I also have spend heavy on data plans but I decided to try this airtel Binge Plan, thought it lasts for one day but it's like best value for money. I can download what I want and surf as I like.
The OP wanted a cheap plan, and you recommended a plan he has to spend N10,500 monthly

Pls if you know the best and most affordable data plan whether from Airtel, Glo, MTN, or even 9mobile pls tell me.
Glo and Airtel data are the cheapest, and even much better if it is a new SIM card. If you must use Glo, make sure the data works in your area to avoid hypertension. To get double data on Airtel, send GET to 141.

It can't be MTN. Infact, that network should be the most expensive. GLO does it for me, followed by Airtel.
Glo network is terrible where I am now, maybe I will consider using it when I change location soon. Airtel zap data like its no man's business.

Anyways I use mtn 1gb for 200 naira every week.

T could you tell us the plan and the type of sim for it ?
And also the code for subscription
it's the new glo oga sim, and the normal subscription, I get 1.2gb for loading 1k and then do a sub which gives 3.6gb making 4.8
Re: Which Network Offers The Most Affordable Data? by pyrex23(m): 2:59pm On Aug 08, 2019
Buy a new Airtel Sim
I do their N500 naira sub
With N500 I get 2.25gb

For new Sims u are automatically on smart connect tarrif plan which is 500 for 1.5gb
Then send GET to 141
And u'll be getting triple bonus..
Eg 500 for 2.25gb
1k for 4.5gb
2k for 10.5gb

Glo yakata new Sims

500 gives me 1.8gb then sometimes I do get extra 500mb for recharging 500..

Glo 4g is bae
I get around 2MB/s downloading in the day..

3-4MB/s at night..

9mobile is good for me. With 200, I get 1gb for 3days, 250 bucks to call all networks, and additional 250bucks to call only 9mobile lines, then I earn credits whenever people call me on my 9mobile number. I think this is cool for me, cos most times, I don't buy credit for calls. I only buy for data and enjoy the rest.

Since I started using Airtel on my 4g mifi, I have never looked back.

Glo is frustration mentally, physically, emotionally and even spiritually..

I still wonder how someone can run a business on glo network with it's snail pace.

Hlo dealt with me both mentally and physically, have to put the sim aside and settle for Airtel. And I ve not regretted it a bit.

It seems I am eligible for it.

But I already have a running plan. When my current plan expires, I WD go for this plan.

But just few questions I want to ask;
1. What exactly makes someone eligible for this plan?

2. Does the data run faster than normal. It wdnt make sense to get data that is 5times cheaper but run 5times faster.

3. If I go for the plan, is there anything I need to keep on doing in order to maintain my edibility for this data plan.

4. Is it also true as ARIINI said that you should not have used your sim for 2months in order to be eligible?
It's runs faster I will be honest with you, infact I stopped doing it on my mtn line, now am using airtel that gives me 6gb that last for 30 days, the mtn welcome back promo data is for mtn customers who have not used their line to perform any data activity or calls on such sim for 60 to 90 days that's 3 months of no data subscription or call activity with the line, like me I only got the data welcome back *131*65# only I didn't get the calls welcome back bonus where a recharge of 100 will get you 2000 naira for calls, but the problem is that in a space of two weeks I spend 1600 buying the 200 naira 1gb that doesn't last but if you are comfortable with it you can go ahead and use the offer also dail *559 *65# to check if you are eligible for the call bonus welcome back

I guess you consume data a lot or maybe from background apps

It's what u use that reads, if you doubt me sub and download something of 1gb immediately and see what I'm telling you.

You're the ignorant person here. Don't try to educate me on things like this
Maybe in the area you are you don't have fast mtn internet connection where I am mtn is the fastest in browsing and downloading even when my sim is not a 4G sim, infact I downloaded a 500mb file I was charged 1gb straight, right now I ignore the offer to do airtel subscription, go to Twitter and see how people complain about mtn data burning faster, awoof dey run Belle

Just dial *131*65# to check your eligibility.. It works for old MTN sims. You can also get a new sim and check if you're eligible

Cheers
