I was banned. I wanted to sell a car. Got calls. Before long I got a message that I was asking for cash instead of allowing buyer to see vehicle. I laughed. I never did such. I always asked them to go see the vehicle then let me know how much they want to pay.
Bad belle people felt I wanted to spoil their market must have reported a lie.

I wish you guys could bring back the OLX app, life using only Jiji is frustrating. What’s the point of the business if people don’t have varieties to choose from. undecided

Firstly u guys are too money minded and u offer service not up to par with what u charge. Your prices are too high, olx charges about 800 for top ad then, u guys charge 2500 at d end the calls or msgs one receives is not even upto what one was receiving on free ads on olx.
You guys should improve on ur marketing.

You guys ban unnecessarily without investigating,
someone can just report someone as asking for money and u guys won't ask, next thing na ban.
See this scenario : I posted an advert in lagos, put my office address there, someone in port Harcourt would call me and ask me how it will get to him, I'll show him my office address and tell him to send someone to pick it up for him, he will insist I send it thru a driver and instruct d driver not to give Him till he pays, I mean, who get that kain strength? What if he settles d driver small money and carts away with my device?, so I tell him its better he sends money and I send to him, next thing I'm getting banned for requesting for money before item is delivered.

HI Alex, you ignored my post on the other thread so I brought it here.

Please why will a user query a search on jiji for a corolla and your showing beauty products in the search results..... What's the correlation?

I believe that's one of the reasons why most buyers don't get sales using jiji

It feels like its just a window shopping app. Maybe it's because of what others have said.

Saw a car i wanted to buy. Indicated interest and the seller sent a msg agreeing with the price i offered and gave me a number to call. By the next day when i wanted to call the number from the inbox,i saw that the 'user has been blocked'. What does this mean?

Its takes too much time befor the adverts get approved,
Unlike olx which was always instant,
As well, non paying customers adverts doesnt show at all,its always hidden way too deep,
It was never like dis on olx,
As well, this act of you guys always editing my advert topic,i know the catch words i need to make my stuff sells, but you guys would edit it and mess it all up,olx doesnt edit my advert title,
U guys need to work on all dis,

Ever since you guys took over olx,i have stopped selling on your platform.its very terrible.

If there is a way to bring back the olx platoform, and maintain your platform as well,
The process operating yours just seems too rigid.

Jiji is shit for the following reasons

1. There's no option to search for recently posted items. You can try searching for something and the first results that come out are showing items posted a week ago or even one month. Kai grin.... Meanwhile those who posted recently have their items down down the list. That's unlike a modern classified site

2. You guys disturb alot. Too many annoying calls all in a bid to convince your users to use paid ads. Some of the items we put on there have little profit. What do we then gain after paying for your pricey premium ads

3. Your site is quite quite laggy. To upload pictures for and ad takes ages. There was a time I logged into the app after 24hrs and the pictures was showing LOADING shocked. I shockkk

4. I have noticed this strange call from none other than jiji staff. They price your items and agree where to meet up, they sound like they're on the way. Then when you call the Number it says THIS NUMBER DOES NOT EXIST. I'm sure it's you guys trying to find out if the seller is legit. But that's embarrassing.

5. I've been banned twice. I don't even know what I did? Next time I'm banned. I won't waste my time trying to re register cos I don't even use your site now. So not my headache

6. Ads take too long to get approved. Can even take 24hrs. One would have even forgotten he put up ads there.

7. Bring back olx style, I know the company is gone but it can be reincarnated. Maybe you guys should ask olx to link you up with their developers as well as copy most of their buisiness model. wink

8. Or jiji pls just shutdown. You guys make me sick

Jiji is the worst classified add site in the world, olx is even betterthan Jiji 100 times,,,,,
Guys use olist.ng it's a very popular site in many countries and is in Nigeria it's owned by opera mini company, with responsive user interface
Re: Jiji Nigeria / Which Problems Have You Faced Working With Jiji? by Inehmesit: 7:38am On Aug 10, 2019
Has the Olist.ng finally launched? I got a call from them the other day that they would like to upload my ads on their site for free. If they’ve finally launched, this is the best news I’ve heard today then. Make I go upload ads sharply, bye bye Jiji grin

Imagine receiving a message from a buyer on the app, instead of getting the notification on my iPhone from the app itself, I’ll be getting notifications from my Gmail app, I don’t know what you people are actually doing sef, e be like una no know how far, if I had my way, I would have created an online classified app for real.
