Good Evening, My visa interview date is August 19 with no AL yet but I'm looking forward to Monday 12th of August...am I suppose to cancel before 12am or I can still cancel probably in the evening of that 12th....I'm confused....I need your advice...Thanks

This is the danger of booking AD without AL, meanwhile there are so many with ALs but no AD. But since the embassy has made it possible to book for AD without presenting your AL, people will continue to do so.

Anyways, the general rule is to cancel your appointment at least ONE WEEK to the date to avoid getting banned. If you fail to do so, you'll be banned for six months. But check your Appointment mail for more details.

They said I didn't submit enough documents to show my rootedness to Nigeria. I sent a letter of introduction, employment contract, wedding certificate, child's birthday certificate from NPC & wedding pictures. Although I didn't submit a leave letter as a doc but my employer mentioned in the letter of introduction I will be visiting during my annual leave.

You care not to share reasons for your rejections, getting an appeal if not well articulated might bounce back. Anyway you can contact dolpaz guess he might be of help as regards this. All the very best

Mine too have same tuition and I was never asked about it by the visa officer during my interview. Infact embassy don't care about that, it's between you and your school, so you don't need to tender any bank statement whatsoever. We are presently still working on waivers as some other schools have done for their prospective students, but in all, it's the discretion of the schools to waive such tuition for their students. We pray to be considered nevertheless, it's all about negotiations

Thanks. God bless. I pm’ed you

Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by Fabcol(m): 7:35pm On Aug 09, 2019
cool
Very clear now
Adhheir:

Conditional Admission is different from language school admission that can only get you a language visa. @fabcol is obviously talking about language visas, you cannot work on a language visa or convert it to a student visa, you have to exit and reapply for a student visa after the duration of your language course which is usually not more than a year.

Language visa is different from student visa, conditional admissions get you student visas but they sometimes go south especially when the prior language possessed is insufficient. You both know what you're talking about but I guess you don't understand yourselves.

Short term visas are not in this category which prompted fabcol's answer to the guy, or did your friends travel On short term visas and extended it?

Mit freundlichen Grüßen

Try canceling and rebooking. It has worked for a number of people.

You're right. One of the requirements for scholarships is that you bring a proof that your employer will retain u when u go and come back.
That's enough to tell u that u gotta come back.

This is someone I know personally and that's what he told me. He also said they're not allowed to do student jobs since they are funded by the government. But others can verify sha.

Yeah i know, but from what the guy in need was saying, he got a conditional admission with a language requirement. Except i read something else.
That is why i clearly stated my points.

He wasn't talking about the 3 months visiting visa. And no, my friends did not use 3 months visa lol grin

And Conditional admissions that makes you learn the language for 1 year in DE before starting the full study program is more of a grey area between Student visa and language visa. You apply with a student visa but upon extension after you get to DE you would be given the same visa as a language student with only one difference ( you can work during summer holidays). Once you get your required proficiency B1 B2 C1 etc... You can then convert your visa to a full student visa and get your full work permit. You would do all this in Deutschland without having to come to Nigeria.

I know of 2 schools that give these for their German taught courses Uni Duisburg-Essen and TU Dortmund.

But yeah we might have misunderstood each other on what we were talking about. i am just stating this for future readers who might want to take German taught courses and learn the language in DE rather than Nigeria

Boss What category ?

Sorry was a bit busy..

If you are applying for Masters and you have a 2.2.

You can book category A.

That's what I booked and used December 16 as deadline..

If you don't get in 24 hours. You might need to shift the date forward

Please I have a few questions for those that have used Coracle so far..or anyone that has the answers to my questions.

1. For those that used Coracle, did you transfer your funds to a recipient that's not you but only quoted your reference text in the transfer??

2. If you applied for the health insurance and got your document, did you tender your insurance document at the embassy??

3. For 2 above, did you check the 'yes' box in item 13 of the visa application form where the German health insurance question is??

1.
Amount to be transferred : 8819 Euros
Recipient / Beneficiary First Name : YOUR fist name
Recipient / Beneficiary Last Name : YOUR surname
Reference Text : ba#########aa## VERY IMPORTANT - Do not write any extra text
Recipient Account (IBAN) NR : AA###################### (last 10 digits are the account nr.)
Recipient SWIFT (BIC) code : AAAAA####
Recipient Bank Name : Banco de Sabadell SA
Bank Address : Oscar Espla 37, 3007 Alicante

This should be mailed to you and has all YOUR DETAILS (implying you're the recipient)

2. Yeah, Travel insurance; when you get your AM you're required to send it along with your passport.

3. Health insurance isn't travel insurance (although, some health insurance packages cover travel insurance) and you don't have a German health insurance in Nigeria. So the answer is NO

God might be testing your Faith, don’t give up, what if you cancel 12th of August night, and wake up 13th of August with AL? Do You mean you don't have Admission at all or you haven't gotten the hard copy from your school. Which please?
