Gum pain kills o.. Not just injure, it literarily kills. Talk to people ask for ideas. Though I lost contacts, local herbal mixtures of less than 2k works wonders in this field but I've lost contacts I used to have. Speak to people |

I once had the same problem and went to a leading dental hospital. No drug was prescribed for me but I was asked prepare warm water+ table salt solution and swish it around in my mouth without swallowing it. I repeated it like 2-3 times a day. It worked like magic. Try it, it may also work for you. I am not a dentist, but I think sometimes, leaving infection aside, you may be reacting to something. |

Perhaps your wisdom teeth are growing out? Its usually a very painful process. If the swollen gum and pain is in the "corners" of your mouth, it might be your wisdom teeth. |

Stargurl20: Yes, I grew mine several years ago, at almost 25, it was some awful pain. Just take ibuprofen and rest, there's nothing much you can do about it. Liquid food e.g. pap, will help because I doubt you can chew without practically crying. You'll be fine in a week or so, sorry my dear. |

Stargurl20: Why not use public hospitals. I just remembered military hospitals have excellent specialists and can help. The government pays so you don't have to bother yourself with payment. |

In the mean time, war water with some salt mixed thrice daily or whenever the pain occurs use it to rinse the mouth. The pain is caused by bacteria that collects over the teeth surface and the more of it the clean off with the salt and warm water treatment, the lesser the pain will be. If it heightens, then alabukun is the perfect panacea for tooth pain as it works stronger than aspirin |

Stargurl20:Try changing your toothpaste to Sensodyme (rapid action). Use toothbrush with soft bristles or better still use battery- powered toothbrush. Dont use chewingstick- I know someone who gets gum swelling anytime she uses chewingstick. |
