Did we offend him? By the way, he got more than 80% of our votes in 2011. Did he killed himself for us? Come to think of it, is it his birth right to be president? What about those who voted for him? Did he not get millions of votes in 2015? Or is it only his family and wife's family that made up the votes he had? Or are you drunk or over fed with palmy? To have said what you just said?

Jonathan was so worse that Nigerians never thought anyone could be more worse than him.

So they elected Buhari, Buhari is now so worse that Jonathan now looks like the best leader Nigeria should have re-elected.

Economically GEJ has a better focus and had a great team but financial control which still plagues most organizations got his government but did he do anything about it?? yes he did - he never intervened anytime someone was caught or in court.
The opposition enjoyed a lot of leverages under him and that’s why we have the dragons here.
GEJ was good and very good for democracy

Nigeria as a country is designed to fail; no human can govern Nigeria or lead Nigeria to prosperity under the current structure.

Nigeria need a total restructuring of the system of government for things to work better.

Federal system isn't working.

Go back to regional system and let every region manage their region's security, revenue, border, etc.

Abokki alone knows how to protect their northern borders.

They know the language to tell their fellow terrorist brothers.

Igbos know how to tackle their brother doing drug related crimes.

Ijawsa and Urhobos know how to talk their militant brothers.

Yorubas know how to stop their money ritual crime best than any other person.

How can Police in a state be answerable to President

How can one man oversea 200million complex people scattered all over who he shares no similar culture or tradition with

Look at UK, they are made up 4 independent nations and that's why they are better off.

USA is made up of 52 independent nations under the name states, that's why they are prospering.

If Nigeria cannot restructure, then peaceful divide the failed nation called Nigeria for the better good of the people that make up Nigeria

We hear you...

From time immemorial and in the annals of Nigeria's political/leadership history, the previous government has always been hailed as better than the present.

This now brings me to the question...

What could the problem be?

I could go back as far as the Gowon era, but let's just start from the second stint of OBJ.

When Yaradua took over, how can one have forgotten all the names he was called..Baba go-slow et all. He only became the best President that never really Presided due to his demise in the eyes and minds of Nigerians.

In came GEJ...everyone wished OBJ/Abacha was still in power and anything to sack him would be a welcome development even if it meant finding a cow to lead the government.

In comes PMB, now everyone wished GEJ was still holding sway.

Why do we keep retrogressing in thoughts and development in God's name?

Na who do us this kind thing as Negros

Abeg forward this statement to OBJ for him opinion. Shebi na dem dey sabi who good and bad for leadership.

Nonsense

A political activist and former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Timi Frank, has called on Nigerians, particularly those who worked against the re-election and sabotaged the former President Goodluck Jonathan to publicly tender an apology if the country must move forward.

Frank said unless Nigerians prefer to continue in pretence, the era of former President Jonathan managed well the challenge of insecurity compared to what the country has now.

In a statement Timi Frank released to newsmen in Abuja on Saturday, called on religious leaders, traditional rulers and all Nigerians who directly or indirectly worked against Jonathan's government to ask for forgiveness before it is too late.

Frank acknowledged that there were things Jonathan's government should have done better but in all Nigerians made a wrong choice of electing the current administration.

"I call on Nigerians that we should beg former President Goodluck Jonathan for wrongly voted him out and sabotaged his government. I must confess that as an APC figure in 2015, we fabricated many lies against Jonathan, though I have publicly apologised to him but other Nigerians, especially the pastors, Imams, traditional rulers and other opinion leaders should beg for forgiveness too.

"It is obvious now that insecurity in our Nation has gone out of hand. The challenge was limited to a zone under Goodluck Jonathan but presently no state, including General Buhari's home state is secured.

"Under Jonathan, Fulani herdsmen were using stick but they now carry AK 47. Under Jonathan, lives of Nigerians were more important despite the challenges but under Buhari, cows are more important than lives.

"There was democracy and rule of law under Jonathan but its now rule of force and impunity. Under Jonathan, National Assembly were active and working but its now a rubber stamp.

"Under Jonathan, Nigerians abroad were relocating back home but under Buhari Nigerians are running away. Under Jonathan Nigerians are respected all over the world but that has since gone under Buhari.

"Under Jonathan Nigerians were crying in tears but now Nigerians are crying in blood

"Under Jonathan, there was freedom of speech but that has long gone under the APC administration.

"Under Jonathan, poverty, hunger and unemployment were not as bad as it is today. Under Jonathan Nigeria was a unitedunited Nation but sentiments have taken over now.

"As it is now, all the institutions of government that were working well under Jonathan have all been blackmailed and politicised.

"So, I call on others who betrayed Jonathan to come out publicly and apologise to him. I also use this opportunity to appeal to former President Jonathan to forgive Nigerians and bless the Nation against the evils that have pervaded the land."

Frank said Nigerians should ask the APC administration what happened to the $1 Billion ECA money removed to fight insecurity in Nigeria.

He called on Nigerians to support a peaceful revolution to take back Nigeria to the good old days from the hands "evil men in power."

no apology, he wasn't performing well insecurity was just something else in the north and every Nigerians were concerned plus their was huge treasury looting done be people in gvt n not him, but now under Buhari insecurity has taken another dimension it has shifted from the north to the south and the northerners are in support of the shift thus they see nothing wrong cos they are not that affected besides insecurity is not the only problem now the whole country is on her knees now Buhari is the one doing the looting along with his officials and party members, left for me we should have left Jonathan alone n let him continue ruling not this tyrant presently ruling us but I don't subscribe to apologies

But the Jonathan administration encouraged corruption.

Billions and Trillions of our collective commonwealth were looted by politicians and their cronies from State and Federal coffers.

Till date these looted money still remain unaccounted for.

The maladministration of the Obasanjo/Jonathan government set the stage for our economic woes which President Muhammadu Buhari inherited.

Having inherited a CAMATOSE ECONOMY, he could not sustain the little he met on the ground and the whole economy nosedived.

But the worst thing President Muhammadu Buhari did to his own government was the way and manner he handled the fulani nationalism.

He did not punished erring fulani herdsmen. He did not bring them to account for their misdeed.

Jonathan was so worse that Nigerians never thought anyone could be more worse than him.

So they elected Buhari, Buhari is now so worse that Jonathan now looks like the best leader Nigeria should have re-elected.

Jonathan was okay, the problem he had was northern political hate. They hated him because they felt he shouldn't have taken over after their own son died. That was the beginning of the problem.

Then, some powerful politicians from the southern Nigeria taught north how to use the growing Islamic sec movement to distabilise GEJ govt due to their own political difference they had with him. Voom, the issue became a terrorism saga, the west now used the power of media to finish it. The west practically had problem with GEJ because they felt he didn't give them enough political positions.

As the terrorism issue became a big problem with northern politicians protecting the interest of the sects then, GEJ became desperate. He was fast losing credibility.

He started trusting people to help eliminate the menace that was about destroying his govt. These people used the opportunity to loot him and the country.

So, if not that northern politicians felt OBJ ruled for 8 years, so they should basically be allowed to complete their own 8 years too, they wouldn't have caused such confusion in GEJ govt. GEJ had better brain in open mindedness, better policy, better options than Buhari. Buhari is one old man with no brain for modern govt.
A man who has not developed him self can't develop anyone else.

He was operating 20years ahead of our democratic status, one of his democratic pattern was freedom of which some of the office holders then end up using it to hang themselves to death, that same freedom is now what people are dying for to get now
Anyways his philosophy and tempo are all quite farther than his co politicians
