I want to travel from Ibadan To Lagos with my Honda Accord 2006 i4 good working condition so far I've changed my 2 Ball joints, Lower Arm , Absorber, linkages and co within April and now

What are the things that I might need to check or can I just hit the road like my normal city Journey (ps Engine/Gear is in Perfect shape also)

Check the condition of your tire, tire pressure and fluids. You should be good to go.

Lagos- Ibadan trip is no biggie trip. It’s a trip less than 2hrs. I do it 10-20 times a year some times with BMW other times with the Accord and I’ve never had a breakdown despite pushing both cars( I do between 120 to 160km/hr most times on the good areas )
As long as you’ve kept to normal routine maintenance. All u need do is check brake pads, fluid levels(engine, transmission, radiator and windshield fluids), tyre pressure (do not exceed 35 psi check recommended pressure at the Driver’s door frame or owners manual) and buy fuel u are good to go.

Other Safety measures, ensure all lights and warning lights like turn signals are working as they should.
Personally I see Ibadan-Lagos trip as normal city drive cos I will spend less time on the road.
Going from Festac/Magodo to Ajah most times is longer than going from Festac/Magodo to Ibadan.

By the way it’s i4 not v4

Please what is this called? It’s under the driver side dashboard immediately above the throttle pedal.

I was hearing clicking sounds like sparks from the dashboard sometimes when I turn the ignition and took it to electrician and he disconnected this module and the noise stopped. I want to know what that thing is called and what it does so I can replace it. Thanks

2005 accord

always indicate vehicle type so we don't conclude it is a Suzuki.

The part is an actuator for vent control of the air-conditioning .

Acura products are relatively cheap in America, especially the accidented ones, but their body parts are very expensive.
Don't get a wrecked one and start looking for sympathy prices for the exorbitant parts, my hands are clean tongue

The radiator fan of my 2007 Honda Accord i4 stopped working, making the car to overheat. But when the AC is turned on, both fans come on.

A fuse was changed and it seemed the car was okay, but the issue came up again the next day.

the rewire is asking that I change the thermostat.
Does the thermostat affect the working of the radiator fan?
I was thinking it would be the Coolant temperature sensor.

Would appreciate if anyone could help me out.

Hello guys, I'm in the market for 05-07 accord, as disclosed earlier that it has only the 2.4l displacement (for I4) but I keep seeing some as 2.0 comfort advertised for the year mentioned above. Would it be wise to go for the 2.0L comfort obviously for the mpg or keep off?

Depends on where you are in the continent.

2.0L was fitted in Brazil only

The other accord with 2.0L is European accord also known as Acura TSX for 02 to 08 model year.

It would be better to find a Euro accord-with 2.0L Engine than buy the North America with 2.0L Engine because I have never come across the NA with 2.0L in Nigeria.

Easier for a camel to pass through the eye of the needle than to see a 2.0 Honda Accord 2003 - 2007 4 cylinder engine in Nigeria

but on a second thought, won’t a faulty coolant temperature sensor make the check engine light come on? My check engine light is not on.
