I met two guys in uniport last week.i dont know their ethnicity but there from taraba,gashaka to be precise.they said thatthe fulanis are the most populous tribe in taraba.they dominate six lgas of gassol,gashaka,ardo kola,jalingo,sardauna and bali.that they are also in great numbers in lau and karim lamido lgas.

They also claimed that the mumuyes predominate zing,yorro and have a reasonable population in lau.they stated that jukuns are only found in wukari and takum while the kutebs are found in ussa and takum.
They also claimed that the tivs populate wukari,takum,donga and gassol while the mambillas are in sardauna and ibi.
According to them,the ichens dominate kurmi lga while the chambas are in donga and takum and the pansos are in ibi.
They also alluded that muslims dominate northern taraba,make up about 60% of central taraba and have a huge presence in 2 out of the 5 lgas in sourhern taraba and that since most muslims in taraba are not enlightened or educated,it allows the christians to dominate politically and socially.
I will like indigenes of taraba and residents to react to the above assertions.thank you.

This is what my Jukum friend told how they never fell for Fulani tricks and domination.

Fulanis, in their usual nomadic pastoral ways, arrived in Jukum land and asked for permission to graze their cattle. From granting the Fulani what we can call Ruga today, the fulanis came back to the king and asked him to provide them land close to his palace and parventure centre of town to build a mosque.

The Jukum king inquired from the Fulani delegation that if it would be possible for him to build a shrine to the Jukum gods in Kano near their Amir's palace to which the fulanis could not answer. The king then told the Fulanis that he had heard how they conquered lands to the north after being granted permission by their hosts to live in their midst.

The king then gave an order to all fulanis to vacate his kingdom and banished them henceforth from Jukum land.

This is how the Jukums never fell for Fulani manipulation and tricks.

Any land Fulani occupies now in Taraba came about during the era of that Fulani supremacist ,Ahmadu Bello, who encouraged fulanis to migrate and settle in what he called the pagan provinces. The sarduna achieved this by carving grazing routes across the middle belt.

Southern Kaduna is not Kaduna South Senatorial Zone but 11 LGAs where God located diverse ethnic groups South of the Southernmost Hausa City call Zaria. Majority of Southern Kaduna people are Christians.

While the Hausa and Fulani intelligentsia made sure in every street or 1 Km radius they have a Polling Unit , they made it so easy and effortless for their own people.

Southern Kaduna would have been producing 2 Senators in Kaduna State. Central Senatorial Zone and Southern Senatorial Zone. The Hausa and Fulani intelligentsia knew this and this is what they did. Anywhere Christians are Majority they made sure they weaken them and strengthen the minority Hausa Fulani Muslims. Giwa & Birnin Gwari two LGAs that are bordering core Northern States like Zamfara and Kastina are Politically push to Central Senatorial Zone instead of Northern Senatorial Zone to strengthen the Hausa Fulani Majority in the Central Zone. Kachia with about 90% Christians, that suppose to be in the Central Zone was pushed to the Southern senatorial zone to further weaken the Christians in the Center. Kauru and Lere of old Saminaka LGA where splitted Lere placed in Northern Senatorial Zone and Kauru Southern Senatorial Zone just to make sure Christians and Southern Kaduna people are weaken in the Central Senatorial Zone.
