For the assessment, what type of questions were asked? Did it include verbal, numeric, abstract, etc....

For the interview, was it technical questions related to the role or just general HR questions?

People may be disappointed that it wasn’t a wide scale invite like NNPC, etc...but the fact remains that GCC have shortlisted for test and interview...got an invite and did mine recently—online and Skype—they also said successful candidates would be invited by Total for final interviews which is the 3rd and final stage of the process. If your GCC profile status is showing “ currently being screened,” you should have faith that they would call you for yet, else, move on. They used GoToMeeting, so you can see everyone you are taking the test with...we were about 6 scheduled for the time...guess they had about 3 sessions for that day (Saville, just like SHL). Interview lasted for about 40mins the next day.

It was role based interview; they asked questions based on job descriptions for the role one applied for.

P:S I do believe some are slightly dazzled by developments about this assessment. BUT NEVER MAKE THE MISTAKE OF CLICKING THE WITHDRAW BURTON(for those still in the game) EVEN IF YOU CHOOSE TO MOVE ON. I don't think you will have any strong reason good enough to give to TOTAL/GCC for the effort spent shortlisting you.

The interview is done on Skype, and like @gwighalo said, it was role based. So you must have a lot of stories to tell about a time when you were working in that role in your current company. There are also HR style questions trying to know how you handle stress, or relate with co-workers, or your approach to solving problems, why you want to work for the company etc.

The assessment tests is Saville Swift Analysis. An email is sent with the GoToMeeting link one hour to the start of your assessment.

It consists of 24 Questions for 18 Minutes. There are three groups altogether - Verbal, Numeric and Diagrammatic (at least for my role).

Each group has eight questions divided into two sets of four questions for 3 minutes each. In other words, Verbal, has two sets of four questions to answer. Same with Numeric and Diagrammatic. So once your 3 minutes elapses, the system forces you to start the next set. The tough part in all this is the time constraint. Looking at it counting down like a pro athlete running in the Olympics, is enough to make one freeze.
