Oh ok, and the charge is normal? I seen some people say mine is the first they've heard about the charge.
Did you think you were getting the card for free? shocked shocked
It’s clearly written in the paperwork that came with it .
Card issuance fee is N1k
And VAT or so is N50
See here

It’s like we’ll have to choose one o grin .
Break the bank to get a good one, or don’t break the bank and continue getting whack ones

Please is it possible to download the entire audio, do the transcription on a word editor and submit?
I didn't see any option for audio download on the site. If this is possible how do you add the speaker tags?

This is my first withdrawal and I came across this page before the confirmation page. Who has experienced such pop-up before and was it resolved? Both old members and new members

Yes, just wait for 72 hours . And it should be completed.
All your withdrawals may continue to be like that until PP thinks otherwise.

It would enter but it might not be instantly, don't worry... Don't expect alert sha.

U can just work down to the bank later in the day to check if it has entered...

Yes you can be self employed anywhere you are in the country transcribing for a living.

This thread will teach you everything you need to know to start up and the tools needed to deliver the goods.

You would need

1. A PC, tab or mobile phone
2. Affordable internet connection
3. Good head phones
4 Good command of English

Everything else can be learned on this thread. For those of us who have already started transcribing, we're welcome to share our ideas here so that this can be our online community.

To avoid this thread being banned, kindly let us adhere to all the rules of Nairaland.

Should we want to share screenshots, kindly let's block the company and important call info.

Also all forms of advertising is prohibited and will be reported.

Edited 9/7/2019 posted by samsard for newbies. Once you master these, the rest go easy

E.g
Rep: I was gonna, uhmmm, I was gonna tell ya about, about the new product we launched.
What they need: I was going to tell you about the new product we launched.

Punctuation: Hello, Philip. It's Emily calling from CLH Group. How're you doing today?
Cust: I'm fine, thank you. And how are you?

Longer calls will be more complex in terms of punctuation but for a start
A comma before and after a name in mid sentence. A comma before or after a name in salutation.
You're also allowed MINOR corrections for making clear transcripts.
Anyway, read through the FAQ and regularly Consult it while working at least till you acquaint yourself with it's detail

All full company names, PayPal email addresses and screenshots that include confidential company information must not be shared on this thread and will be reported

Am interested

The info is up to date.

Yes, you will be able to cashout to your prepaid card if you follow the info.

It details the steps to getting a PP account that will accept withdrawals. The notifications for transactions on the Africard will be send to your mobile phone so that is where your verification code will be sent to. You can use another bank card to verify for now and get the Africard when you want to make your withdrawal.

I created the SA PAYPAL business account with a Nigerian IP address but I couldn't sign-up with a Nigerian phone number or address, says, "sorry..." and I can't link a Nigerian debit card because South Africa only has a four digit postcode. What do I do?

Here is another trick I discovered in getting a fresh, clear and easy calls.
Let's say you hardly see our preferred American accent after several refreshing, go and clear your cache and cookies. Force stop the chrome and lunch it again.
It may not work for you, but it has always work for me. Though sometimes it wouldn't show.
You can try your luck

Good day everyone, sincerely I must commend you guys.
It's almost a week I joined and I took my time to really understand how it works. I have read the FAQ like thrice. I will really appreciate someone's contact for whatspp PLEASE! It will be strictly qa because I finally took my first job and I was scored 1.it was really disheartening. I do take my time to do things and I don't like failing at anything I do. Pls, once I get hang of it I will back off the whatapp page. From my transcript flag, it says rep to rep. I asked the question how to differentiate between rep and customer. Please, I want to know before taking another call. I aim for 5 but I will hold on till someone comes through. Please...!
I have read through the threads back and forth, watch videos and all please I need a one on one. Please.
