Its simple

Put the dog in front of a mirror 🪞
If it recognises the reflection as itself and doesn't think its another dog, then that dog has a high IQ and is self aware

And as for training please dont focus on sit, speak, paw and all that nonsense at the start

Take it to a secure and fenced park or space with as many distractions possible

And focus on recall, threshold training and socialisation first

If you cannot control those 3 things just using your voice first then you honestly dont deserve that dog

The fancy stuff should be secondary

And please do not feed that dog noodles as the bulk of its diet!!
