A driver was shot dead today by a policeman at
New Park,Owerri road,Onitsha.According to an eyewitness who narrated the story,policemen stormed the park to arrest weed smokers.The deceased joined people at the park to run when policemen stormed the park.It was during the process that one of the policemen shot him dead.Angry mob blocked the roads and set tyres ablaze.

I just open nairaland to read news and the first news that appear is "police kill driver". I said it before that Nigeria is an open prison.

Yesterday I saw these police men under the onitsha bridge by lagos Park collecting money from the drivers even they have no shame. If you bargain =N=100 and you give then =N=1000 they will open their pocket and count your balance and give you. They are there now because I passed there around 9am.
