A player that just played 90 minutes in a champions league qualifier is not performing? The way you guys slander this particular player is just scandalous.

Is that enough reason for an invite?

Then why did u make reference to the mistake he made against Algeria? Even the best players in the world are prone to errors and commit plunders that cost their teams.

Every player have their strongest and weakest areas and all can never be the same. Kante is a world class player while ndidi is still coming up and working hard to get better.

Yes but you can be so good that your weaknesses are hidden

Its not a bad idea to aim to be the best if you can. If he can push himself, then that's not a bad idea.

Of all the MFs we have, he is closest to World class, hence my fixation on him to enter that exclusive pack

Afterall, it is for his benefit mostly, not mine personally

Eze will get his chance and he didn't do that any good by rushing to play for the English u20 side though I know the pressure was much on him and as a young player he needed that to boast his profile.

He should continue working hard and with due time he will get his chance. He did well when the season started but faded away later on. He is immersely talented I don't argue on that but needs to do more to make a case himself
darkelf:

No matter what you say, Ebere Eze is long overdue for inclusion. Majority here would agree.

Please note that i didn't clamor for any other player because I don't see their added benefit to the MF position (maybe apart from Tomori if he is interested)

He can't enter the exclusive pack over night, ndidi is a hard worker and determined player so I believe he will get there.

Every player have their own unique qualities which makes them standout.

Greats like Viera and Roy Keane where both DM but with different unique style and approach to the game.

Zinadine Zidane and Francesco Totti were world class AM but also have thier unique qualities and style.

Ronaldo de lima and nisterooy were world class strikers but different style of play and approach

I think the issue with our midfield is that currently we lack good midfielders playing in Europe's best leagues aside ndidi but I believe that will change with time.

In a season or two I expect the likes of Eze, Onomah, ejaria, Nwakali jnr(if he gets serious) to make the step up. For now we have to make do with what we can lay our hands on in that position

Ajagun still remains the only AMF playing in a top league.

The funny team about Rohr is that he makes little changes, yet the team will still be playing like they have not been together for quite awhile lol.. These lads should be spraying passes with their eyes closed by now

Modified
And let me add KC does not deserve to be invited. If we want to help this boy, let him work hard for his invite.

I find the whole chemistry thing weird and I think I might have mentioned it here during AFCON. The core of the team has been relatively constant yet at times it feels like they just started playing together a week before a game. Maybe it's a formation issue, maybe they just have more 'off' days than normal...whatever it is I hope we can sort it out.
It would have been nice to see a few more new faces but I understand that we cannot discard the whole team. The early invite probably didn't help as well; the season hasn't even started for everyone.

lol.. u don forget say Rohr na our coach..
komekn:

Actually at the time I brought into the discussion The inclusion of Seyi Ojo.

Who has played left wing and left sided midfield with defensive responsibility for Liverpool and on loan at several Championship teams.

In modern football the Wing Back has evolved from the restricted Full back of yester years. Essentially this position us defensive but more attack based. This means that wingers will depending on the team flirt with both position. That's why Aina played on the wing several times for Hill in the Championship.

Seyi Ojo has the most important attribute for that position PACE but with added technicality and as you can imagine he can cross the ball something we lacked so obviously.

Another season go pass and they will say he is the tackle king

Me I feel he has more to offer than just unnecessary tackles and fouls in danger areas. He needs to up his game or he needs a better environment to bring out the best in him

I just tire my guy, the guy caused us so many fouls in the afcon .. I prefer etebo to ndidi .. My opinion

Ndidi go dey play as if na npfl e dey

Naija Transfer update

The Window is already awesome for NAIJA PLAYERS but it's not over yet.... It's about to get even more colorful.

According to reliable sources, Moses Simon to Nantes is expected to be announced today. He passed his medical yesterday (depending on your time zone).

And Chidozie Awaziem to La Liga's CD Leganes is expected to be sealed and announced soon.
He will be joining Omeruo in same club and in the La Liga. smiley

The list is out.
It seems early though

What is Ezenwa who is the least goalkeeper in the NFPL doing on the list? I am beginning to believe that that goalkeeper coach is a bias bigot.

With him, our goalkeeper department will never improve. His pattern of invitation is very suspicious and dubious.

This is one of the major problem in Nigeria. People will be putting my brother in positions even if they are not qualified for the job.

I wonder if there are no better goalkeepers in Nigeria that he keeps calling Ezenwa and I think Okoye doesn't deserve a call but I will let it slide because he is FB.

I hope Shehu, Ogu and Akpeyi are gone for good.

Rohr rush release list because he already made up his mind to invite some players who are yet to kick a ball.
