Is it not guity conscience dat led him to drink rat poison?

After turning Igbo and Yoruba into enemy for the North.

It is dat problem we are facing now with herdsmen.

Yoruba should stop celebrating this man. He is a criminal.

Show us proof that awolowo actually took his own life. Is this the type of lies your hate-filled parents fed you?

Your deluded parents may have succeeded in deceiving you, but dont pass this foolishness to your own children.

The late Awolowo never took rat poison, he died a natural death. He slept and never woke up.

You can argue with your phone if you doubt it.

if you mean the east yes because it has never been relevant before so no difference or need for its support

It's just the south that deals on political parties, the North has political power blocks on both ends that would accommodate the other without even blinking as long as it holds power.

In political sense, the ibos have no grounds for complaint. They made a rash decision by supporting Atiku and now you people have to suffer for it.

Real men accept the consequences of their action. Igbos unanimously bragged that APC should not bother to campaign in the SE and that there is no such thing like APC in Ala Igbo. They said awful thing about the APC and its leaders like Buhari, Tinubu, Oshiomhole and others. In short they made it clear APC is dead to them. If honourable then they should stick with PDP and seek nothing from the APC in 2023 but alas Igbos now have a reputation as an ethnic group that wants to reap where it has not sown. I am therefore not surprised by this shocking demand from them to the APC.

Stop blaming this great mind, blame Ojukwu who took his people to slaughters's lab for selfish reasons, he was too self centered and if you observe it till date, an average Igbo man sees himself as being superior to others. Deal with that bro and every other things will fall in place

If not for Awolowo, Igbo and Yoruba are actually related.

Just see the similarities in wat they speak.

gini is Igbo.

kini is Yoruba.

Awolowo betrayed the south.

Tinubu is following the foot-steps of Afonja.
dunce

the Azikiwe that ran to the north to serve as a slave didn't betray the south

I reckon you should do it. You will make a fortune and be as rich as Seun if igbos patronise you. The sad thing though is that Igbos will not leave Nairaland because Igbos are obsessed with the Yorubas and would be unable to breathe if they cannot associate with them. Same as I know, 100%, the Biafra noise is fake. Let it happen today and Igbos outside the SE will refuse flatly to return. Bro we know una well well. I will always say the truth and stand alone.

From Afonja to Awolowo and Tinubu, the story remains the same.

Subservient to the North.

Aiding and abetting Fulani supremacy and take-over.

Are Yoruba and Fulani related?

U betray your southern brothers, and for wat? A piece meal of porridge.

Guy after reading this piece and you still maintain this your mirage idea about Yorubas, it means you are half intelligent.
There is nothing like betrayal between the Yorubas and the Igbos, what we have is supremacy contest between the two as related to who becomes president or vice president. The North needs either the Igbo or Yoruba man to become president or vice versa. Shagari/Alex Ekwueme, Zik and Bello, Abiola and Tofa, Obasanjo and Atiku, Buhari and Osinbajo, Atiku and Obi.
Did you know that in 1957, precisely in London, Awolowo moved for Independence and our dear Nnamdi Azikiwe supported the North instead of a Southerner?

can you remove the votes you gave obj and tell me who would still have won those elections.

Its like how them saraki where making noise they helped buhari in 2015 whereas 2019 showed it was reversed.

Remove the votes of the SE for Obasanjo in 1999 and Olu Falae wins the election. APP was to a fault NE/NW dominated. There was a merger between Olu Falae's AD and APP which was the dominant party in the NE. The votes Obasanjo trounced Falae with was gotten from the NC/SE/SS and NW to a lesser degree. The PDP had its founding heads from the SE/NC and they was a gentleman agreement to pick a Olu Obasanjo that just came out of prison.
Now do the mathematics? So had the PDP stocked with an Alex Ekwueme and discard the SW sympathy, then by now the Igbo's would have had a democratically elected President before you.

But the south east said they don’t want the presidency in 2023. They said they will present Atiku or Sanusi in 2023 on the platform of PDP...their adopted party. So, why bother about who APC presents?

Shut up. IPOB's and not Igbos! Igbo's have always cared about the Presidency. The unfortunate coming of Uwazurike and Kanu was a slur to that.

The south East has the advantage of a southern popularity even before the elections.
We will defeat any Yoruba contender in the southern region and take the battle to the.north.

A Dave umahi or a Peter obi for the goal.

I salivate at the scale of national infrastructure a Dave umahi is capable of creating with federal resources.
The guy has transformed ebonyi.

lol, first am not Yoruba , next all these your tales of turning history in its head as you usually do won't work here.

Obj scored 18,738154 against falae 11,110287 in the 1999 election.

Igbo total votes for the winner obj was 2,307712 votes in all east states

Now subtract 2,307712 votes from obj 18,738154 obj still has 16,430442 votes
I thought you guys claim all Igbos have left the south East to Yoruba land.

Are they now back in Igbo land?
