Wisdom is attained by work of course. Even Solomon had to make a great sacrifice before he got the chance to ask for wisdom.

Do you have a specific kind in mind?

Re: Paypal £100, Right Answer! by Truthsbitter: 9:06am On Aug 16, 2019
It would amount to nothing...
There's no amount of money nor is there an amount of intellect that will amount to anything before existence or before God.

when you grow in intellect and when you think you have gotten to the top, you find that you're at the bottom . it is a never ending cycle. The only thing that means something is your awareness of the present and even in that, you find that everything is nothing and nothing is everything.
Psalm 19:2 KJV
Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.

The money saved in the vault will be what "it is" irrespective of what anyone thinks or says.
And if a time comes when it is eaten by moths it will be what "it is".

The Right Answer!

You might have noticed if you read on the previous thread that this post was in response to muttley who asked "what personality has the god that you've created with your intellect", essentially asking that I create for him an image of my God, hence the title, the first and second of the Ten Commandments, thou shall worship no other Gods and do not make graven images, which I'm claiming to be inclined to seriously consider more than others for reasons given in the op, and which muttley asked me to break, though I'm certain it wasn't intentional and his yada got in the way. Blindness, I call it. That which stops one being conscious.

The question for which paypal £100 was offered and which was tricky, was how much would be in the vault when the person hits 40 years old? I guess you'd need experience to answer it correctly which no one did, so let me walk you through it.

Your forty year old child can not put a pound in a vault until it is old enough to count months and old enough to earn a pound a month and old enough to open vaults. So ma or pa, you, would have done it for the earliest of years, pound in a vault every month till lets say, 6 years old when your child starts hawking ẹkọ - though I doubt any of you would task your child that way, so lets say, 12, when your child starts hawking eggs, though I doubt any of you would task your child with that either, so, 16, when you deduct it from pocket money? 18? 24? Let's go with 16. At 16 years old, you, ma and pa will say to your child, "My child, in this vault therein I put, a pound every month thou lived. Now, to you give I".

Something, must have made you, ma and pa put a pound in a vault for every month your child has lived till you hand the responsibility to your child. And hopefully, you earn enough so todays about ₦500 doesn't hurt much, though, the more it hurt the more it likely meant. If you are wealthy, that something might make your pound a month in the vault double or triple or go tenfold even, unless we are to assume you'll never reflect and grow and aren't thinking school fees. But that's by-the-by, and on the assumption your child hits 16 and becomes responsible for the vault that ma and pa you, have been putting a pound in every month your child lived. How much would be in your child's vault by the time your child hits 40 years old?

I'm inclined to leave this question unanswered as a long running fund raising thread as it's work has not appeared to be completely done, but so it not in the future be pointed out as the buda yahoo yahoo thread, as in one where I swindled everyone out of a £100 because, not a single person on here got the answer right, I won't. I know the fault is mine. I'm certain if I'd raised it to £1000 for the right answer, you would have all worked harder. But as I said, you obviously already do, storing up even many pounds a day every day you live, and in a vault for your child, so, blessed are you and your fruits, for they evolve from your seedling, albeit, slowly, but accordingly.

As you have guessed, the pound in a vault is the wisdom in your head first put in it by ma and pa then the responsibility becomes your own with 16*12, £192 in your vault and 24 years of a pound a month to go till you hit 40. So, question. Would you continue putting a single pound in your vault every month, or spend it, or put in a lot more than a pound a month?

If you are anything like me you'd likely figure a pound a month will be a measely £480 by the time you hit 40. We're looking at years of work here where you'd be earning, so you'd likely put in a lot more. It's what you after all do, accumulating knowledge at a slow rate in your early years and increasing it many fold as you grow older. Would you not put £2 in every month there on or a lot more even? I'll let you ponder.

I commend FOLYKAZE and LoJ and the many others for first best answers. Special engagement thanks go to Ranchhoddas for his insight. Thanks to Truthsbitter for storing intellect and a yada to muttley with thanks to all for participating. Every tiny bit made your cups runneth over.

Please note that one person not on Nairaland was paid for being the closest to the right answer. Her vault had £4800 in it but more important was how she got so much. I think being a banker had to do with it.

This thread, raised £9860, which will go to the personal welfare fund of buda. All requests for parts thereof are emphatically denied. If you wish to challenge that your already given answer deserves to be paid for, please go ahead. Your answers will be reviewed accordingly. No future answers will however be considered.

Get a vault folks. You may start with a pound a month but in time you are sure to grow in wisdom which moths will never eat, will not rust or be stolen by thieves, and one day, we will all be wealthily wise.

Levi shows how wisdom survives destruction.
He has no use for scornful people.

1 AND now, my children, I command you: Fear the Lord your God with your whole heart, and walk in simplicity according to all His law.

2 And do ye also teach your children letters, that they may have understanding all their life, reading unceasingly the law of God.

3 For every one that knoweth the law of the Lord shall be honoured, and shall not be a stranger whithersoever he goeth.

4 Yea, many friends shall he gain more than his parents, and many men shall desire to serve him, and to hear the law from his mouth.

5 Work righteousness, therefore, my children, upon the earth, that ye may have it as a treasure in heaven.

6 And sow good things in your souls, that ye may find them in your life.

As usually you grossly misinterpreted and misunderstood what the question "what personality has the god that you've created with your intellect" is asking

Everyone is expected to know God, everyone is expected to acknowledge God. Every human being is expected to fear God, for you budaatum, that means to hold God in reverence etctera

Now the "yada" from first and second part of the Ten Commandments says:
1/ You shall not have no other gods before me (i.e. Exodus 20:3)
2/ 4You shall not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
5Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; (i.e. Exodus 20:4-5)

As I had previously pointed out to you budaatum, but it went swoosh over your head, like as if it was a Naija Airforce fighter jet and "you didn't know warris going on" God has no problem with human beings having a God knowledge or "yada" God, but what God is saying with the first and second commandment, is not to have a false knowledge of Him. God is particular about people not making a false representation of the God, He is. God doesnt want human beings to advance a perverted intelligence about God or what the Bible doesnt say God is. In fact, both the first and second commandment is emphasising not to have and not to paint a false picture about and/or of God etcetera. This was the gist and idea behind my question, not all that your rash and ill-judged version of event.

Each human being is a circle whose circumference is nowhere and centre is in one point while God is a circle with its circumference nowhere too but centre everywhere. Now the thing about most atheists, is that, they have formed/created a god with their intellect, and this god, they've developed, is impersonal, as in, unlike the true picture of God, their idea of god is one with no personality.

budaatum, do you recall me asking you a question with the following previous comment?:"If you all make your intellect as gods, what personality has the god that you've created with your intellect then? Curious to know. I bet its impersonal"

With inflation, the saved in a home vault £4800 is now actually worth a paltry £849.64

Wish you well with having Bashorun's body put into the ground. You'll be OK and fine, considering so far that unused talents dont at all get buried, like done by the fearful, evil, bad, wicked, lazy, good-for-nothing and useless servant who was thrown out into the dark where people cry and grit their teeth in pain, all for burying his unused talent
