You mean SW showing disdain. Are you for real. The north I know understand political alliance with Ndigbo than you guys. Your kind of politics is laden with hate when it doesn't go your way.
And remind me, the last time Igbo leaders excuse themselves from participating in national elections.

SW has no time for the Igbos let alone be interested in showing disdain for them. Yet, once again, another Igbo shows he does not understand the nature of the game and the character of the players. Tinubu is empowering Igbos in the SW by supporting them into important positions. This is seen nowhere else in Nigeria and tells you all you need to know about Yorubas and our visionary approach to nationhood.

It is the North who mainly show disdain for you with how they don't speak yet , behind the scene, are the biggest impediment to Igbo man ever becoming President because they are the region whose survival is inextricably linked to 'one Nigeria'. The problem for Yorubas is that we are educated, liberal and we talk frankly. This is why you find it easy to hate us, when we tell you the truth, more than your real enemies who do not talk at all yet have it in their mind that Igbos must never be empowered to lead.

If you and other Igbo youths really want to educated yourselves then read the link below to note what the Yorubas are about. You will, if you have an open mind, discern that it is you Igbos and Northerners who have caused the major problems for Nigeria while we Yorubas, always the most reasonable, are then dragged into the madness thereafter from the rash actions of others that was nada to do with us to begin with. You can continue hating and fighting the Yorubas as your parents have indoctrinated you to do or you can educate yourself. Up to you. See the part in bold below to note why Igbos became die hard secessionists. You will note it is nothing to do with us Yorubas yet it is us you hatefully put as the arrowhead hate figures of your Biafra agitation today. What does this show about Igbos if not an intrinsic inability to be fair to others and to appropriate blame to those truly deserving of it? Laughable you would all now rather queue behind Kwanwaso and Tambuwal to frustrate Tinubu, Fashola or Osinbajo. Go ahead. The North never really changes. You guys will face-off again with the way you both are. Just hope you leave Yorubas out of it this time.

Jan 15, 1966

A military coup d'etat led by lower and middle-ranking officers, some of them Ibo, overthrew the NPC-NCNC dominated government. Prime Minister Balewa along with other northern and western government officials were assassinated during the coup. The coup was widely considered an Ibo plot to consolidate power and overthrow the northern dominated government. General Johnson Ironsi, an Ibo, consolidated power in the military and used its power to restore order throughout Nigeria. Ironsi declared all political parties illegal and formed the Federal Military Government (FMG).
Jul 29, 1966

A counter-coup was launched by mostly northern troops. General Ironsi and many others, mostly Ibo, were killed. Between June and July there was a mass exodus of Ibo from the north and west. Over 1.3 million Ibo fled the neighboring regions in order to escape persecution as anti-Ibo riots increased. The military aided some Ibo in their flight but many of those unescorted were massacred. The FMG, now under the control of Major General Yakubu Gowon, a middle-belt tribe member and a Christian, restored calm to Nigeria. The anti-Ibo riots led many to believe that the only way they could live securely was to secede and form their own country.
Aug 1 - Sep 30, 1966

Anti-Ibo riots gained momentum and voracity. The exodus gained greater impetus as hundreds of thousands fled the riot torn north. Armed bands of civilians and militia slaughtered Ibos indiscriminately. Over 30,000, mostly Ibo, were said to have died in the north and west. The eastern region was now flooded with Ibo refugees.
1967 - 1970

The Biafra civil war, an effort by eastern Ibo people to secede, fails with the surrender of Lt. Col. Odumegwu-Ojukwu. Between 1.5 million and 2.1 million were killed, including many who died in the famine following the war. The end result of the Ibo war of secession was the deaths of a large portion of their more educated male members and the almost total removal of Ibo from government. After the war, many Ibo were permanently removed from government service.

Ipigs everywhere.. always with the sense of entitlement... this is very pathetic. Go to your party PDP and make your demand.
They are as confused as confusion itself. See below picture to understand then answer the question:

How can you ever make sense in this country??

I don't have a problem with any southern getting it.

Igbo's too can but where they wish to have it, it is becos of they don't know how to go about it that makes them feel a supposed Fulani must rule them.

Any southern can lay claim
Those shouting a Fulani man must rule do that out of their own political lilyheartedness, but I sure know that an Igbo man is aiming at the presidency. If the Igbos in PDP insist on the PDP ticket and those in the APC insist on the party ticket on the basis of diplomacy, who says they won't get it. The need to come at it with tact and right politicking.
Yes, every zone has the right to contest be it South or North, but the Igbo must insist it be given to them as the third tripod that haven't tasted it before. The basis of Nigerian unity lies in it, as it was in 1999. Only a foolish person won't see it this way.

That came on the brink of a first term where fashola massively outperformed, it was only natural.

He got 1m+ votes against PDP paltry 300k votes.

Nobody wanted to be the hinge to his second term and be tagged enemy of progress
You're shifting the goal post now. Do you really know the level of affection Ndigbo have for Fashola? Do you know the level of development Fashola executed in Lagos to which Igbos too benefitted from? Do you know Fashola appointed Igbos to his cabinet? I don't think you know, that till this day there is always this telepathy anytime Fashola visits the east to commission a project. Forget the game political game Peter Obi played with that night deportation. Fashola is loved and Ohaneze would had supported him wholeheartedly had he picked the APC ticket in 2014 instead of Buhari they dislike.
But for now the Igbo leaders are fixed on getting the Presidency, and if the Yoruba's are keen in fostering peace and justice in this country they should throw their weight behind an Ameachi or Rochas. Ndigbo have done that before with Abiola and Obasanjo it's now time for the SW to reciprocate that gesture. Pick an Igbo man and you'll see Igbo's in PDP overrun the northern consensus to the party ticket.

The Igbo political elites don't hate Tinubu. His thirst for power and the way he used the Oba of Lagos in the 2015 Gubernatorial elections to threaten Ndigbo brought that skepticism.
If the APC presents an Igbo consensus candidate, the SE/SS in the PDP will drop the idea of supporting a northerner. Wike and his associates in the PDP are not fools to gift the north another 4 years when they've ruled for 8 years already.
The SW cannot eat her cake and have it. Tinubu is comnf out when others haven't tasted it. The SW have ruled for 8 years, they've had VP positions twice and Speaker thrice.

Is it the Kanu that first betrayed his calling by becoming a politician or another Kanu.
The authentic voice of the Igbo nation as far as Nigeria's politics is concerned is the SE Governor's forum. Any other voice is irrelevant!
If Kanu is serious about Biafra he shouldn't involves himself in internal issues as election or Sowore's revolution. Let him focus on his United States of Biafra and leave national politics to the politicians.

Igbo total votes for the winner obj was 2,307712 votes in all east states

Now subtract 2,307712 votes from obj 18,738154 obj still has 16,430442 votes.

Regarding the southern unity igbos gave olu falae 978,999 in all igbo states add that to obj 2,307712 it sums up 3,286709 total votes from Igbo land and obj would have still won comfortably had that 3m votes been given to ekwueme.

lol, you seem to forget how vilified Igbo's in APC are by their own people.

Nobody would play home goal in APC to a Rocha's or an Igbo cos even Igbo's would reject it, if it can be done to ojukwu in beloved apgpa APC na small thing.

These are people who boast of not giving a damn about elders or oneness
Ojukwu didn't sell his manifesto on the basis of what the average Igbo would benefit. Also the SE politicians then were indifferent about Ojukwu's candidacy, some felt he had no business running for Presidency, while another group felt his rise would upstage the Igbo political class eating fat from our collective purse. So many threw their votes behind the major parties. And even at that, most Igbo for the love for what he stands for gave him a large chunk of votes. Ojukwu at the end of the polls, acrrued a million votes and came third behind Buhari in 2003.
But this wasn't the first time Ojukwu is losing an election. Jim Nwobodo, the Governor of Anambra state under the NPP in 1982 federal House of Assembly elections for Nnewi constituency rigged in one unkown Edward Onwudiwe of the NPP as against Ikemba Ojukwu's NPN.
Well, throwing a vote behind a regional candidate is alien to Nigerian politics until Buhari emerged victorious in 2015. Buhari ended that odd.
For you to become President of Nigeria, on many occasions is not by the love your people have for you. Sometimes it takes, others to pick the most hated or most ridiculous candidate and make him President. It happened to Shagari in 1979 when he wasn't the popular candidate of the north but still got the ticket of the NPN. It also happened in 1999 when Obasanjo became President despite not being the choice of the SW. It was in 2003 that Obasanjo won the SW over after endearing himself to their heart. So in essence, your people mustn't like you before you assume leadership on their behalf.
If Rochas or Amaechi for instance is picked by the APC, their support base in the north, MB and SW can vote them as President. At the end, it becomes a win win for the APC and for the Igbo people.

So on what ground are you jostling for Presidency this time around, when it was the same sympathetic cause you were gifted the Presidency in 1999.

Bro, you don't understand the main issues of the equitable power shift arrangement. That power shift between the North and South is the bedrock of the gentleman's agreement. Specific region is not defined and there is room to negotiate. For example, if it is deemed to be the turn of the south then stakeholders in the South must work to produce those most eligible. In this case SS is out because GEJ from that region directly preceded Buhari and the SS can therefore not be called to replace PMB with the obvious reality they may get another 8 years in power to add to the 5 or 6 years GEJ enjoyed. Bear in mind Yorubas have not produced a President since 2007 and the Igbos not at all since our current democracy began in 1999.

This now leaves Igbo and Yorubas. To cut a long tale short, Yorubas made the APC. The APC will therefore not blink if it has to chose between a valued bloc that is electorally important (the SW) and a non-existent bloc that is politically worthless almost 100% i.e the SE. Stop being emotional and accept that action have consequences in life. The SE mocked Yorubas as "Fulani slaves" when we were working to strengthen the APC whereas Yoruba in turn told the Igbos to build bridges and not put all their eggs in the PDP basket. They did not listen and preferred to trade in insults and invectives. Today the Igbos have to sink or swim with the PDP. As simple as that. Seek the ticket of the PDP and they should give it to you if they truly believe it is your turn.

As for the APC, nothing for Igbos there. Same as you showed the Party that the SE has rejected it totally is how the Party will show loyalty for those who worked to put APC in charge of the centre and in control of Nigeria's direction.
