Genesis 1:2

The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep waters. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters.

Mentions of formless , empty and darkness is a potential clue to resolving the problem of when Lucifer was cast down.

God is light, and in him there is no darkness, why would his perfect creation be in darkness? This mention of darkness leads me to

Could this darkness that covered the
Earth be the punitive chains mentioned much later by Peter?

The serpent is not only described as being crafty or cunning; Scripture also tells us that this creature spoke. I understand you bro, i am not confused all, on the contrary do you know the greatest commandment? Love the lord your God with all your soul, all your mind and all your heart. It is never a distraction to discuss the word of God, rather an indication of ones obsession.

The Scriptures refer to Satan as an accuser. Revelation 12:10 calls him "the accuser of our brethren who accused them before God day and night...".
Satan wants you to believe that you are not worthy to approach God. But you are not approaching Him on the basis of your worthiness. You are approaching God on the basis of what Jesus did for you at the cross. Remember that, because the devil doesn't want you to know it. He wants to accuse you before God and keep you away


The devil was soundly defeated at the cross of Calvary.
Colossians 2:15, speaking of what Jesus accomplished at the cross, says, "Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it." At Calvary, the devil lost his foothold and stranglehold on the life of the human race. This means that each of us can be set free by the power of Jesus Christ.

Let me just put this out here, just that some people never learn... Satan, devil, and Lucifer are 3 different beings.. I have said this on this forum on countless occasion... Enlil is Satan, on the account that he is the destroyer, he is the God of the air or Lord wind.. His son is Nanna, he is the devil and the moon God or the ruler of darkness I. E he is the God of darkness.. Nanna daughter is inanna, she is Lucifer, which is a Latin title (it is not a proper name) she is Venus the morning star.. She is the goddess of death amongst other.. She took up that role as goddess of death which no other God wanted to do, and as such was elevated to the pantheon of God or Elohim.
The three of them are not independent of God, they are part of God and together form the group of beings refereed to as "the sons of God".. They do the job God has created that to do... They all report back to God.. They are part and parcel of God.. God is sovergn over all his creation.. No exception..
They where NEVER casted from heaven, the verse in revelation is a mistranslation... The actual translation is "he drew his cast for the earth..." after Marduk has created the Universe from the remains of tiamat(which is the dragon in the book of revelation.. Which symbolically refers to chaos) Enlil was asked to choose where the gods will reside, since he was the first son of Anu.. He there after drew his cast for the earth and all the gods came to earth..... Enki and his sons and daughters represent the right side of the Elohim while Enlil and his sons and daughters (baals and asherahs) represent the left side... While Marduk represent the middle and is the creator of all..
They are all spiritual stories and all very interesting..

Both Judaism and Christianity all originates from Babylon and much of their beliefs are all epics from Babylon...

I believe all refer to that same one fall that occurred years before Adam.

Remember John in Revelations refers to the Birth of Jesus which had already taken place?
