I've hammered it repeatedly, we have two international windows in September and October to try out fresh players in certain positions . it won't argue well for the team if Rohr start experimenting with the team again during the AFCON and world cup qualifiers. the GK position is one area we baldly need reinforcement.. Akpeyi is gone. Ezenwa ought to have followed suit.. that leave us with Uzoho as the only goalkeeper playing top flight football in Europe.. either we turn to the league for backups or call up academy players playing in lower divisions..
I don't see how Alampasu isn't a national team material . Is Okoye a national team material? hell no!!
Alampasu has been playing for Freinse u-23 which isn't really bad considering the fact that its hard for African goalkeepers to cement a starting shirt in Europe...
If we are going to be calling up goalkeepers playing lower division football,then Alampasu deserves a call up too...after all he played for his club first team and even kept a clean sheet weeks before the AFCON list was released...

Alampasu has been seen by Rohr at close quarters not once but twice.
In October, Ezenwa will pave way for either Sébastien Osigwe, Nwokolor or an Npfl gk.

Yes, he played some games but not enough.

I felt he deserved more game time in the first team after his brilliant debut but the coach obviously does not trust him.

I will give you and Alampasu the same advice I gave Daniel and thr NPFL boys, if you want something, you must hustle for it. When Maduka was hustling for attention, commenting and liking NFF's social media posts, Alampasu was thinking Rohr has time to travel to Portugal and watch his games against bottom feed, or maybe tune to YouTube and watch the games that cannot be found.

My question does Maduka deserve eagles call up?capital NO cos on what criteria.

Alampasu had his opportunity through invitations but Uzoho two LA liga appearances gave him a break through and replaced Alampasu from always Rohr three goalkeeper list .

But at 22 do we say Alampasu should be discarded cos he was still with U23 cos i remeberthst Uzoho was our WC keeper as U23 keeper playing in LA liga third division and i was impressed.

Ezenwa was a third keeper with Enyimba and was still getting eagles call up.

I think we need to understand how national team invitations is done.It centre on a lot of things,ranging from talents,disciplines, player attitudes, coaches trust and player agent.

I want to state it that have been watching eagles sin afcon 1980 and i can tell anyone who care to listen that national team invitation is not only about performance.

It was on this thread I was hearing that Zuby doesn't desrve eagles call up but what can we say about Chidi Nwakili invitation by Rohr.

Rohr have his network of searching for players and it's left for those involved to recommend player for him.A Nigerian ex fortuna duselldorf player Darlington Omodiagbe was the brain behind Maduka invitation and he has been on it for sometimes.

If Maduka come good,no issue but based on his performance he did not deserve eagles call up whatsoever.

Now,you are getting my point. Their brilliant performance earn them multiple and consecutive call ups not because they like or comment on NFF pages. If maduka can get call up without any brilliant performance at club level,then you have no right to write off Dele because of his lack of game time. That is my point.
Maduka being a fine boy might be the reason his invitation dey sweet your belly like this.

We can't go by playing time alone. We all know how hard it is to make it as a keeper in Europe. This lad was already part of the system then all of a sudden, nothing. Maybe Rohr doesn't want him to come in and outperform everybody again because that is what he did the last time.
