My peeps pls I need advice especially from peeps that have gotten PPR. I have worked 2 years in my current work place however before that I have worked like 2 years at different places. First is nysc, I worked the one year but I left at the last month for my masters program (nysc was to end February, but I left for masters in january and the admission for masters is carrying january). After the masters, I got work somewhere but the salary was so lean that I was being paid cash-in-hand. Now this is my issue. I need 3 years work experience to get minimum score of 460 what do I do with the above. Pls guys really need a convent advise. Thanks.

Admission for next session isn't available yet
Will be out soon

Hello bro, I checked the HRDC website, they seem to have updated it within the week, but I am still confused with this. I though I would see the list of other courses.

Hi,everyone. Please,i have an issue at hand. I paid rprf using an access bank debit card;used another person's card because of exchange rate. When i received a feedback, the total amount deducted was 281,004naira (for 2people)which made the exchange rate 286.7naira to a canadian dollar. I used gtb when paying application fee and was charged 282 naira/ CAN dollar. I'm still trying to wrap my head around this high exchange rate..please,who has used access bank for such transactions lately? Or has an idea. Thanks in anticipation

As part of PEBC's document evaluation, I am meant to submit 2 passport-acceptable photographs. I intend getting these today. When I made an enquiry then, I was told I will be getting a soft copy alongside 4 physical copies.
The question I have is can I get the other 2 passports now and use them for PPR later on? I have been trying to check for the oldest period they are meant to have been taken, if it is within the last 6 months or within the last 1 year (the passports for the PEBC's is actually within 1 year), but have been coming across conflicting answers. Or should I just take the 2 copies and later on go for the other 2 months later when I hopefully get PPR?

Pls can I evaluate HND and PGD with ICES or do they request for OND like WES.
quote author=thirdpage post=80906185]

cc: Scandinavian02

I can confirm that ICES evaluates OND as Two-year diploma and HND as Four-year Advanced diploma. Just received mine, but its a whole LONG wait, approximately 19 weeks after all documents were received by ICES. Although the evaluation was completed in 17 weeks; it took two weeks to get to me.

Pls, was your school made to do verification for you?
Mine is almost 15weeks now and still no information from them. Kind of confused..

Congrats bro, I am shedding tears of joy for you cry
But if I may ask why did it take so much time? Is it because of the ADR? Pls enlighten us on what may cause ADRs and what we can do to avoid such wait. Remember you are a legend now, so your advice is highly recommended.

I believe ICES processing time has been increased to 20wks now, so it's difficult to see any good impetus for choosing them over WES, even accounting for verification and WAEC issues. This is a week past my initially designated 14 wks, yet they are still prevaricating. So knowing all these, it's still your call.

Good am,
Saw your post earlier, have you received your ECA now?

I am actually a girl. The thing is I don't know what caused the delay. The 1st gcms notes were fine. IRCC has its own timeline and how it works, which can be frustrating sometimes.

Glad to be of help.

Saturday is my LRW, i can still use one or two tips especially for the Writing task 2. If may ask, is wristwatch allowed into the exam hall?

My special tip for writing task is read ONCE and understand it. Just once first, then start making your jottings into para 1- introduction, body para 2, body para 3, and conclusion. When you read it once, you will be able to paraphrase the task in your understanding which then enables you to write from your understanding of the topic.
If you keep looking at the question, you could end up re-writing the words they used. When you have paraphrased the task, you can now read the task to check if your words captures it appropriately.
As regards examples, the best I can really advise is that you can apply Nigerian problem to all sort of tasks From my ielts writing practices, that's what I have observed which is what I did for my actual task. I got a 7, first trial but I think It would increase if I remarked.
All the best.

Yes you can use naira savings account, in fact you can use any currency sef. Just ensure you use the appropriate exchange rate so rhat your POF is above the required CAD value. For my application, I included the exchange rate of that day in my letter of explanation (LOE) and uploaded it with my bank reference letter. Use bank of canada rates or oanda.com. Good luck!
