After cleaning up the gutters and streets they should ensure there are well covered waste bins at strategic locations. Otherwise things will simply return to former state in a matter of weeks.

These lawma cleaners are also part of those blocking these drainage, I saw one at Pedro road sweeping heap of sand in drainage gutter, I walked up to her and shouted at her, just this week ,I saw one at Maryland sweeping heap of sand and dirt's in to the gutter, I just shook my head and walked away

That's a very bad mentality, why do they do that?
Are they thinking that the water in the drainage system will carry the sand away.... It's good they sweep the surfaces of the roads but their action might cause flood in the long run due to ignorance/laziness
Any work system that doesn't involve information, instructions, training and supervision makes no headway
