I bliv he has one strong God father he works for and he keeps embarassing the government. some of the positions are good. the rest we can manage

What is better than be responsible for the education of your country? You are not looking at the significance of the position but the power associated with it. But no power surpasses education.

How can you give Kaduna and Kano States two substantive portfolios each?
Please look at George Akume's portfolio and justify the necessity and function of such ministry in the context of having The Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Buhari's appointments have always been lopsided and sentimental.

Looks like Darkness will continue.

What does this Eng Saleh Mamman knows about power?

According to Vanguard;

"Saleh Mamman works at the Agricultural Extension and Rural Development, Ahmadu Bello University. Mamman does research in Agricultural Plant Science, Food Science and Animal Science."

This might be a square pegs in round-hole undecided

We cant manage Onu (Science and Tech) I would have prefer the guy that was just appointed as DG NITDA as minister of science and Tech. He is mobile and competent if he is know what he is doing that ministry can create over 10M jobs and wealth for Nigeria youth in the next 4years not to be going after contracts, Adamu did nothing as education minister in the last term i don't know what he is going to do now, FCT is too critical for Bello and with all the resources and the federal might he is incompetent for this portfolio and the expect serious crisis with this Ngige in labour, the government and the people need someone that can think outside the box and create synergy through right policies between the government, labour, private sector for proper and conducive enablement not noisy person like Ngige, he may strive in another place but not labour the next years? What was their achievements in the last 4years? Sit down and watch is the next level now.

Buhari seems to be fond of Timpire Sylva, with that juicy office he wont contest for governorship, there are so many square holes with round pegs on this list eg. Sunday Dare ex NCC commissioner now Youth and sports minister, Jedi Agba ex NNpC DGMD now minister of power, Uche Oga Entrepreneur in oil and gas now Mines and steel. Etc

For Keyamo it serves him right after using him he was handed Minister of state, Niger Delta to work with Akpabio.

All in all, not playing the devils advocate, but I know these people cannot perform magic, it is soldier go soldier come, paddy paddy government, selective fight against corruption, increased debt profile, recession next year end of next year, 2020, Appointment of Abokis to juicy positions etc

We really don't care about Nigerians, we care about the party faithfuls.
Shouldn't we reward loyal friends whose sins have been forgiven?

Nigerians, Let us Pray!

It is amazing the way Nigerian politicians see Nigeria problem, they always think that they can achieve something big through politics.
Nigeria power sector shouldn't be put in the hand of a lawyer, Agriculturalist. It is a sector that needs a complete overhaul.Though, it is not a rocket science to get it right, Its need a combination of policies, and full knowledge of technology, and Engineering of power generation, efficient transmission infrastructure, as well as sound distribution system. In the developed countries, the concept of Energy efficiency has always been a serious discussions, and of course they know its importance to employment generation. If a power sector of a country with the approximate population of 200 Millions people is a way below 10,000MW, this is indicative of lack of productivity, high unemployment rate, inefficient economy, poverty, and lack of responsibility.

Infact, it is something our government should tacked head on, and assign people with the right knowledge, internationally exposures, and of course with overall knowledge in this sector. I believe, this should be strategic, and ultimately be taken serious. Going through this portfolio, I dont see anything change in the power sector in the next 4 years, it seems to me that, everything was just a joke. We need to start given responsibility objectively, and shouldn't be based on political compensation. Well, I cant overrule the concept of political compensation, but it shouldn't be matched into the critical sector.

The power sector in Nigeria only should be generating millions of jobs. At every stage of the power system, there is opportunity for economic prosperity, and its only call for the right policies, and huge investment in the sector. The power infrastructure is nothing to write home about, the grid is worn out, loses at every stages, the distribution cannot even be explained by the ordinary people, maybe by the spiritual power governing the energy sector in Nigeria you can get a proper and useless explanation.

Honestly, it cant work fine, because you cant give what you dont have. I am really disappointed that Nigerian will keep on wallowing in this state with no sound economic blueprint, and in a state of total despair surrounded by abject poverty, environmental noise of I "pass my neighbor".
