It is good that NNPC has decided to keep us busy with TFare discussions and take our minds off APL for now. Word out there is that the ogas at the top (NNPC Top Management Committee (TMC)) is yet to approve the final list talk-less of sending it to FCC for endorsement. Since we are all getting paid, make i jejely wait for my 3k alert from Lazarus/King-Ayam/Farouk. Looks like we that did interview on the 1st of July are suffering the First In Last Out effect.

As for those clamouring on limited funds, NNPC has more than enough to pay everyone even at a 20k flat rate... If this was handled by F&A we would have been over with this TF stuff buh rather HR requested to use their discretion in handling it... That's why it's trickling down. No contractor is handling, they're staff.
In my opinion: they did it this way to prevent the bureaucracy of TSA n errors of sending directly without confirming account details cos I believe many will make mistake in their account details.

Just like one of us stated earlier, compiling scores, gathering candidates per state/LG, and so on will take time not to talk of making reservations for external candidates (you know what I mean). So from say, mid July till now is still a good time. I expect anything to happen from 3months upward.

Well done Mr Jarus.....you are an asset here. Most of us are here to know what is happening as we wait hopefully, so do not be surprised with APL or not this forum would be on "quiet" until the next recruitment �

Like I said last week the list won't be out till after ministerial inauguration. I was surfing through this thread yesterday when I same across a guy stating something about GMD not on seat or so. So I reached out to a friend and applicant as well who works out of GT Bank's branch at the towers
He met with a connect at the GMD office and she said the list is with him, his approval is what's left, it'll be done when he's back (I don't know the definition of back in this context).
She also said something about successful Candidate may go through portfolio interview to determine where one will be posted.
BTW NDIC recruited about 100 staff last two weeks, solo recruitment, imagine

I didn't get Tfare reimbursement nor APL in the 2012 recruitment but I have seen that affliction can never arise a 2nd time.

Waiting expectantly and I know with the wave of payment, APL's trumpet will sound soon.

Wow, to say I am shocked and bewildered at the level of commitment many have devoted to arguing about TP and APL despite various credible persons telling us that they are unrelated would be a great understatement. This shows how much we as Nigerians love cherry picking things that please us, irrespective of how reasonable or logical it sounds but as long as it satisfies our selfish and innate self-centered nature. This thread perfectly represents how we engage ourselves on issues that are insignificant at the expense of things that will bring us together and help us grow.
The country is deeply plagued with social issues that could consume us or our families in an instant but what do we care? We go dey alright last last.

I am angry, disappointed, dissatisfied, and depressed. I am literally shedding tears because I know we all could do better but we are not doing so. I don't know about you but I won't be proud of returning to this thread in the future seeing how much of my time and knowledge I have wasted on things that will neither add to nor take anything from my life.

Right now I don't care if NNPC employs me or not, I just want a situation where we all are assured of successful lives and careers regardless of where or whom we choose to serve.

Yeah, it is all fun and games until the APLs are released. In my opinion, contrary to the generic belief that a lot of people are having fun on here, i sense desperation almost bordering on obsession. From trivial postulates discussed, it is quite evident that some persons may have their lives hanging on this job. Some persons have even expended the 'supposed' upfront even before the actual receipt of APLs, heck, some persons are even considering resigning from their current jobs without the APL yet in sight. Don't get me wrong, i am not against anyone's ability to day-dream or hold on to stern faith but i could advise a bit of moderation in such actions. Nothing in life is of certitude save for death and taxes. With the spate of suicides in the country amongst our youths for minor challenges they face i must say, i pray no one here toes that line if this recruitment does not produce a favorable outcome as expected.

For me, it has always been two motto:

The TF reimbursement would probably continue even after APLs are released. This was experienced during the last recruitment albeit theirs came in at a longer period after their interviews.
This is own presumption as to how the TFs are distributed. This is a FG parastatal that is laden with bureaucracy, so it is expected that the trend will continue. This payment pattern was no different from the one in the last recruitment so it is safe to aver that it is probably the same set of TF processors that supervised the last recruitment that are currently on this. The pattern of payment in my opinion is inconsequential as they could be sorting by dates/disciplines/banks. Why it comes in piecemeal however, i presume it may be more sinister than it is evident. The disbursement could probably be to circumvent approval at a higher level so as not to arouse suspicion. The names/descriptions are basic banking transfer descriptions that are inputted by Funds Transfer Staff. King, Lazarus and Faruk are all staff through which the instructions of reimbursement came from. The payments without names is probably because the FT staff of the bank failed to input the names under the description module while making the transfers. Sadly, this piecemeal payments may be done so that when funds for some interviewees(peculiar issues like wrong account details/no account details/wrong bank name et al) are released, they could be diverted without suspicion. I may be wrong but this is my presumption.

N:B- There is nigh probability that some of us on this thread would be employed. However, a lot does happen in this type of organizations. A lot of bureaucracy and shenanigans abound. Guys that would be in Administrative/finance roles like Accounts, Audit, Procurement, Tax and Budget. You will probably see a lot of things that would go through you or pass over your head. It is based on how your belief/integrity is factored that would determine how you proceed. Resignation is usually an option for some folks in these positions.

I say this based on my experience with FG agencies in the past. I may be wrong though. These are all just presumptions.
