Yeah, it is all fun and games until the APLs are released. In my opinion, contrary to the generic belief that a lot of people are having fun on here, i sense desperation almost bordering on obsession. From trivial postulates discussed, it is quite evident that some persons may have their lives hanging on this job. Some persons have even expended the 'supposed' upfront even before the actual receipt of APLs, heck, some persons are even considering resigning from their current jobs without the APL yet in sight. Don't get me wrong, i am not against anyone's ability to day-dream or hold on to stern faith but i could advise a bit of moderation in such actions. Nothing in life is of certitude save for death and taxes. With the spate of suicides in the country amongst our youths for minor challenges they face i must say, i pray no one here toes that line if this recruitment does not produce a favorable outcome as expected.

Come on, isn't that rather extreme? I doubt anyone qualified to be in the running for this APL could doubt their capacity so much as to contemplate suicide for not being fortunate enough to clinch it.

Wow, to say I am shocked and bewildered at the level of commitment many have devoted to arguing about TP and APL despite various credible persons telling us that they are unrelated would be a great understatement. This shows how much we as Nigerians love cherry picking things that please us, irrespective of how reasonable or logical it sounds but as long as it satisfies our selfish and innate self-centered nature. I am angry, disappointed, dissatisfied, and depressed. I am literally shedding tears because I know we all could do better but we are not doing so. Right now I don't care if NNPC employs me or not, I just want a situation where we all are assured of successful lives and careers regardless of where or whom we choose to serve.

We have the capacity to make things better. Let's do it.

Had mine on 4th as well, but saw alot of my lagos colleagues there in other panels, while the 4 of us waiting all EH though were from lagos and from divergent parts as well.

Can we stop trying hard to crack this thing unless we just want to use it to pass time while waiting on the APL's.

I remember the dude who referred me in, after my interview (which he actually sat in, though at a corner) he escorted me to the stairs congratulated me and wished me all the best. I whined the guy to give me his contact, but he refused saying he cant as there were cameras every where and he will be reprimanded, so i gave him my business card; but he never reached out to me.

Have pleaded before and plead again, please if you do not have verified info from a solid source, can we just wait patiently; cos e get as this theories wey we de draw up go make NNPC vex tell u say them no do again. I have been to Total E&P and Forte Oil interview panels and some of them just died out with out any further communications after the conclusion of the interview. Let us all be guided please.
