WAEC, they wrote for you, JAMB you used online cheat. Your father and the VC, were class mates, so admission sure for you. Five years down the line, you came out, with First Class, only God alone knows how much you've spent in sorting and bribing lectures. You hit the labour market, trying to "practice" what you "studied" in school, "Sir I'm a graduate, I studied civil engineering," "in fact I graduated with First Class upper". "Wow that's good, which school?" "Uniport sir," "Okay meet me in my site tomorrow." You smiled, God has finally answered your prayers. Two weeks in the site, you're so confused and stressed out, most of the equipments looks strange to you, like you have never seen them in your life before. It seems everybody hates you with the way they keep gathering in group, talking and pointing at your direction anytime you come around. But who cares, you're the boss, you are the supervisor, the only Engineer on site! Maybe there are just admiring you, after all you're a Bsc holder with first-class. "Hey you!, what are you doing there, don't you have work to do?, Do you know I can seize your money today? In fact you and the other guy, bring that Crowbar and come and remove this board let's look at what WE did" you shouted After removing the boards, your head starts spinning like you didn't take breakfast. your eyes couldn't believe what it saw, abi, it is you that didn't believe what your eyes showed you. The staircase you supervised is now looking like the one in Super Mario game. it seems something is dropping from your eyes, oh is that tears? No it's urine! Ewu Gambia! Not that you really meant to cry, but the continuous chanting of "Engineer"! "Engineer"!! "Engineer"!!! by those stupid labourers is confusing your brain cells responsible for tears. Your mind is telling you to run, but run to where? you ask your mind back. "Run to Jesus" the devil whispered from behind. Source: https://m.facebook.com/robson.kemo?ref=dbl 1 Like

Graduates shouldn't take all the blame. It's what the system demands. the system itself is apparently corrupt and frustrating, leaving some with no other option than finding a way of making it easy for themselves. Schools set no try. Teaching us so many junks we won't need in life. |
