A popular Delta state based native doctor "Chi Marine Temple" visited an orphanage home owned by the Anglican Church and donated gift items.

His donated has sparked controversies, some Christians suspect that he may destroy the destiny of the kids and hence the church owned orphanage home shouldn't collect the gift items. Meanwhile other Christians have blamed some pastors and church leaders of not living up to their responsibilities and urged them to emulate the herbalist.

What is your take on this?

We all have our sins and shortcomings. Refusing a sincerely offered gift because you feel you are better than the giver is a sure way to drive a wedge into the relationship, not bring the attempted giver to Christ.

This one strong ooo. Well, there's hunger and want in the land. If the supposed church had refused to come to their aid, who said a Native Doctor cannot can?

Jesus came to save sinners not the righteous people, accept the gifts and extend hands of fellowship

Do you know what a native doctor is or are you confusing it with a traditional spiritual leader?

A native doctor deals in native herbs, not spiritual matters.

If a pastor can take food to Muslim faithfuls, why can't a traditional spiritual leader take gifts to a Christian orphanage? Or is it only Christians that want to do good to other religions, while vilifying them? What kind of religion is that?

He should go and meet Christ first.
Zacheus was a sinful tax collector guy. He knew he was a bad man. He heard about Christ and was very excited to meet him. He climbed a tree to see over the crowd.
Jesus called him, face to face and Zacheus opened up his heart and his house to Jesus.

He promised to give his wealth out, "If I've cheated anybody, I will pay back 4 times the amount"

Go and meet Christ FIRST and confess your wrong doing.
THEN show your sorrow by giving out gifts.

Juju guy can't be giving gifts to kids and still practicing juju and sacrifices.

Religion is religion. No religion is greater than another.

Before Christianity and Islam came to Africa, Africans had their own Religions.

God is God.

Even when most of them go to them for means of influence?

As long as Pastors are collecting tithes, offerings and gifts from thieves, armed robbers, prostitutes and corrupt politicians, I don't see anything wrong in this.

The church itself is contaminated

Religion is the tradition of men. I don't partake in such because the best way to preach the gospel (LOVE) according to the scripture is by loving GOD and loving your neighbour as you love yourself.
The gospel is to act and not to speak
