No I've not. Recently its been difficult getting an interview, it's no new news by now. As for medical , no too.

If all the paperwork is real and well done and you have a face to face time with your fiance(e), you will be approved. Family of the US citizen rarely is denied, only if the embassy see lies, fake documents or criminal record. Also from the past year is the rule for medical exam checking for drugs in your blood and they can detect it as far as last 2-3 years use. But even if they find that, they do not deny yet ask you to stay clean from drugs for 1 year (as far I remember) and apply again.

Yes. Unless there's any changes to your bank documents. In that case you send the updated documents.

NPC Attestation along with a Sworn Affidavit by a Federal High Court should suffice. The documents should contain basic info such as your full names, your date of birth, place of birth, state of origin, parents full names, etc.

You however said the court affidavit you got was from a Magistrate Court. I don't think they accept Magistrate Court documents. I think it's safer to go with an affidavit from a Fedral High Court.

My fiancee filled a K1 visa for me and have recieved the packet from the embassy giving me go ahead to make my visa payment, appointment booking and my medicals .II already paid for my visa fee,created a profile but telling me there are no available dates to schedule and interview.Should I send a mail to the embassy or I should wait till a date pop up cos there are news everywhere that I might not be able to see a date till November .

No need to send any mail to the embassy as long as the approval you got from USCIS is not close to expiration date. Just wait till a date pops up. Just keep checking. More update.

My documents have been verified and it came out positive. I now have a Drivers License thats valid till October next year (one year and 2 months validity). Hopefully My greencard will be out before this license expires so that I will get a 6 year validity on next renewal.

One of the beauty of having a State issued drivers license is that you don't need to carry your international passport and/or your AOS NOA1 along with you anywhere you go. I flew to Miami Florida and the only travel document I took with me were my flight ticket and my texas drivers license.

Thanks for your reply but please i have some other questions...
1) its one time enough for physical meeting because my fiance is planning to come by December for engagement or marriage before she goes back to USA to file for me.
2)Also we are confused which is better between k1 or CR1, do we have to face more interviews when changing status if we use k1 considering that CR1 gives green card on landing. Which path will you advice us to use, thanks a lot
3) Me and my babe means of communication has been whatsapp..whatsapp call, video call, messages everyday for about a year... we don't send mails to each other or use regular phone calls. We have not seen the need for that but since we are about starting this process i don't know if this whatsapp conversations alone are enough and how do we prove whatsapp call and video call records?? @Paccus, according to the rules, a one time meeting within 2 years is enough for K1 Visa and is the basic requirement. However meeting more than once will strengthen your case.

The only advantage K1 Visa has over CR1 Visa is that it's faster. You'll get to be with your woman within a short period of time with K1 Visa. The disadvantage however is that it takes a longer time before you get your greencard with K1 Visa.

You can print out WhatsApp conversations. You can also screenshot your WhatsApp calls and print.

You can study and write exams while waiting for greencard but can't work. However you can volunteer as long as you are not being paid while volunteering and you are not depriving someone else of being paid.

My cousin had a representation issue. Her agent filled that she was married when she applied for B1/B2 visa a couple of years ago even tho she was not married. There’s no record of a marriage anywhere. Now she’s got a fiancé that wants to file for K1 visa. She’s worried that the embassy could pick up that lil piece of information from her previous application and it could jeopardize her chance of getting the visa. What can she do to solve this problem.

Yes it will come up. But the best thing for her to do is come clean and say the truth.

It starts counting the day it is signed by the physician. Yes you can do your medicals immediately but it is advisable you wait till you get an appointment date before you gonfor your medicals because it might take a while to get a date.

Did my medicals today. Will update you guys how it went here:

I chose to use Qlife because they were the only ones that replied me when I sent enquiry mails to the two hospitals. I got there around 6:45am, wrote my name with the Security Guard (very important) and then went back to my car.

At some minutes past 8am, they then called us in.

Please make sure you take a 4 by 3 passport photographs (5 copies), it's way smaller than the conventional 2 by 2 passport stipulated by the US Embassy. Also go with your appointment letter and the email printout from NVC that has your Case Number. Also you will need your international passport, 2 photocopies of your data page, immunization records (if you have) and of course, your ATM card.

You will undergo X-ray to screen for tuberculosis, your blood will be drawn to test for syphilis, you will be vaccinated with IPV, MMR and TT, those will protect you from polio, mumps, rubella, tetanus, etc. Your blood pressure, weight and height (BMI) will be measured. The Doctor will then examine you after taking your medical history. Your urine sample will also be taken.

It took me a little over 2 hours. I was done around 10:30am or thereabout

It's quite an extensive procedure and the result comes out in 2 weeks time, I'm told.

I guess this should help someone out there.

You need the email from NVC and a confirmatuon that the embassy has received your casefile.
