Please I Need Help; What Viable Business Can #500k Start In Portharcourt

I lost my bank job of over 4 years early this year. My efforts towards securing another job since then has been futile. I've invested in all sorts of online business but none yielded reasonably.

I have resolved to set up a business with my only savings of N500k here in Port Harcourt.

Great Nairalanders especially those resident in Port Harcourt, I've come for your advice. What business (NOT ONLINE) can I start with my 500k savings here in Port Harcourt?.

God bless as you advise

Like food, mobile fone has become something we can’t do without...Nigerians are very funny, no matter how poor they are they wanna use a big fone or something that looks close to big....we like to form rich in the midst of nothing

Buy all this cheap techno, intel, gionee btw 28-35k, resell with ur profit...u can get as much as 10fones to display for a start with 500bar... and more if u deal in smaller spec fones....You will still have something left for shop space.
I don’t know where u stay, but all locations have their high and low areas... go to low areas where u will see shop of 70-80k per year... or u do collabo with someone...that’s what people do now in those big fine shops in the big places they share office space, three to four business and split the cost so far business do not conflict..as time goes by other ideas go dey roll in, no worry, no let fear of uncertainty grip you.....

if you believe in God, say a little prayer, remind him his word every morning with faith that he said he will not allow the righteous go hungry unless you ain’t righteous.... and if u are an atheist believe in the law of the universe that he who sow will reap and with some coincidence and luck you go make am... don’t you ever forget to help the poor no matter how little u have
Guyyyyyyy..... Last last u go dey alright...
God bless your wisdom. With 300k, if he is business oriented and he is ready, i can guide him on how to start in artillery even without a shop or start with show glass at mtn market. He only need guidance on how.

The best "business" with 500k in this Buhari era is just fixed deposits/treasury bills where you're guaranteed interest with very little risk.

Everything else, in my opinion, will cause you to work too hard for too little gain. After all the businesses you can start with 500k today, you are lucky to see consistent 2-5k profit weekly. Reason am: 500k @12% = 60k. Just my own sha...
This is not how Treasury bills work bro.

Treasury bills is not fixed deposit

With Treasury bills, you get your interest payments upfront

Interest rate ranges from 9% to 15% depending on inflation.
bros relax. Which one is 13% with all your analysis you don’t do treasury bill..so make he lock 500k for like a year with 13 percent. Which kind advise be that na

All this people mentioning treasury bills

Interest is always per annum.

If it is 12% p.a, that means monthly will be 1%. Nobody will give you 12% in a month.

You think government is yahoo yahoo ba?

He would be paid upfront now cheesy

If na 500k, They would deduct like 430k from his account and he can ball the 70k for one year.

After a year, 500k for repair for his account again. grin

Win win if you ask me grin

That is not what I meant

I meant interest is paid upfront after successful bids.

Even if is 90, 180 or 364days

Yes, rates are calculated based on 12 months.

Dear,
With 500k, you can do much even in this economy.
What if I tell you that you can make at least 100k each month by investing 350k.
You might think it's a scam or not possible.
It's 100% legit and possibly!
Exportation will surprise you.
The most important things you need here to start include;
1. A good Knowledge of the products and business (I can get you ther).
2. A registered business with both CAC (corporate affairs commission and NEPC (Nigerian exporting promoting council.
3. Register with any b2b platform of your choice (but I would recommend globalbuyersonline to fit your budget).
4. A mobile phone to answer calls
5. Internet enabled device (your Android device can do the work needed)
6. email address.
7. Business or personal bank account.
If your are interested, I will explain more in detail.

Sir am very much interested and I just pm'ed u
